I thought the stacks in the screenshot were what had been bought with each persons' donations. I just wanted to try to round off my total to hit the equivalent of 100 plexes by grinding over the weekend. But get some rest. It's not important. The actual donations have been posted in the dedicated post. You'll notice that besides you, FARR and some others, there's not a lot to show. However I could send them to you before they reach VAERT, you could double them and send the resulting ISK directly to VAERT. That way you'd make "turnover" and I will be able to send ISK that otherwise would remain "undoubled" in VAERT (and thus 20B lost for Philppinos). What do you think? What's it? It's a limited time fund that is aimed at going beyond the usual VAERT way of donations. In fact, given a maximum pool amount, every donation sent to VAERT BOOST will be more than doubled by me: the current conversion rate is 220%, that is every ISK sent to VAERT BOOST will be matched by me with another 120%. Example: a 100M ISK donation will become 220M ISK donation. Yes, this is a VAERT-ized adaptation of Amarr Citizen 155's own Trillion ISK initiative, studied both to deliver even more value per ISK donated and yet to fit within the super-rigid VAERT accounting practices. How does it work It works in two different ways. 1) Donor: the regular players sending in ISK to be boosted. 2) Fund sponsor. a generous, rich player who provides a portion of the ISK pool that will be used to match and boost Donors' donations. I will provide a 20B starting pool myself to get the ball rolling. Donors: how to send charity ISK to be boosted It's simple: 1) Copy this corporation ticker into a chat: VAHFT 2) Right click on it, select: Autolink and then Corporation. This will produce a clickable corporation that will point to: Vahrokh Financial Technologies [VAHFT] 3) Right click the VAERT clickable name generated at point 2. From the resulting popup menu select: Give Money. 4) A window will appear, where you may enter an ISK amount to donate (maximum 500M!) and a Reason. In Reason you should enter (or copy and paste): VAERT BOOST Done! Easier to do than to write it down! Q. Why sending to VAHFT and not VAERT? A. VAHFT has historically been the operating finance company in the Vahrokh's corporations conglomerate. This is an additional management I have to take because VAERT must keep a simple records booking for CCP to check. I would easily risk running out of transactions API limits if I had to triple them (Donors + mine + Sponsors) and / or would make an accounting mess. Rules 1) No donation may exceed 500M. The portion exceeding 500M will automatically promote you to Fund Sponsor. In case not all the sponsors ISK will be used by the end of this initiative, the excess will be sent to Amarr Citizen 155's trillion initiative. If he won't take ISK any more (for any reason) the ISK will go to VAERT instead. 2) Once the donations pool is exhausted, excess donated ISK will be sent to Amarr Citizen 155's initiative. I will try and update the remaining pool amount, but since I live in the GMT time zone there will be times of the day when I won't be able and update it for hours. 3) The donations pool will be determined before the CCP charity drive ends, so if Fund Sponsors will send pool ISK, the pool cap will be lifted up and more donations will get 220% boost! 4) In case Amarr Citizen 155 own pool gets filled or any other event happens that makes him stop accepting donations, the excess donations will be forwarded to VAERT's regular fund. 5) In case ISK is erroneously directly sent to VAERT, its bylaws forbid any kind of ISK extraction and in general any kind of mess. Therefore it's highly possible the donation will stay as is, without boosting. Fund Sponsors: how to send ISK to seed the fund If you would like to donate more than 500M ISK, you should consider becoming a Fund Sponsor. Featured on the VAERT front page (where history Donors are recorded), Fund Sponsors help VAERT BOOST gather liquid ISK to match with the regular Donors donations. Basically if you sponsor VAERT BOOST with 1B, you'll enable a regular Donor to send 454-ish millions and see those multiplied by 220%. Needless to say, I appeal to your good MD-er heart to support this new initiative! Rules 1) There's no ISK cap to sponsoring VAERT BOOST. 2) VAERT BOOST accepts either ISK or PLEX. 3) Fund Sponsors donations will only be accepted up to Dec. 5 midnight EvE time. Those coming past that term will be forwarded to VAERT. 4) The minimum amount accepted is 100M.
