CCP, please, pretty please with sugar and cherries on top, bring back the lvl 4 version of Angels Extravaganza. Not only was it a very profitable mission, but it was one of the few challenging missions available to highsec mission runners.

Are you sure you're not just plain unlucky and didn't get the AE4 recently ?
I think I would have heard the complaints from our guys if they did, but then again, drones and navies are more their kind of favourite prey, I guess.
Might want to ask our "hardcore" missionrunners in local or on our corp channel, see if they got it at all in the past few weeks.

I can garuntee you that AE was pulled shortly after the trinity release when it was revealed that the loot table was borked (100% chance of gist items being dropped in bonus stage). Don't get me wrong, I think the loot table obviously needs fixing first, but then please reintroduce this favorite mission of mine.

Well that double-sucks...one, because I never bothered with the bonus room 'cos everyone knows NOTHING good drops in missions, and two, AE was a great way to pick up alloyed trit bars, which have gone up in value 60% since trinity.
CCP you bums :(

AE was one of everyone's favorite missions .. I had completed the bonus room dozens of times and never got any Gist --- so that must have been a recent bug. I did once get a Dread Guristas Invulnerability field from the Guristas Extrav, but never anything special from the Angel... but yea, if I ever go back to mission running - I wouldn't mind coming accross AE every now and then.
As for the price of trit bars - I'd expect the price to come down again. When carriers got nerfed, 0.0 alliances needed to put more emphasis on hauling with haulers to get things moved until they could use a jump freighter/rocqual -- but now many of these alliances are starting to get the jump freighters going so the need to maximize cargo capacity of haulers should be reduced ... and therefore the demand for trit bars should go down. At the same time, I expect there will be a "nerf" to nanoships which might also reduce the demand for trit bars further..

Well, then they need to fix the loot table there and give us back our tank test. I was looking forward to siccing a Maelstrom on that bonus room someday.
Hell, they just need to block out some time for someone to just go over all the loot tables (assuming they're at all human readable, but a programmer should be able to write up an interpreter for them without too much problem) and just see if they can un-bork them. I know they've fixed some of the 'hi, I'm a Battleship using a Frigate's Afterburner' stuff, but seriously. . . Loot is a major source of income, it should work correctly.

Been doing lvl 4's for republic fleet for soon 3 weeks, seen no AE, just get way to many vs amarr navy that is healthy for my standings :(

I find it a little odd that they could have borked the loot table up in the first place (kind of a lame bug to introduce I'd have thought) and it's equally puzzling as to why they can't just hotfix it.

Even though today is my last full day before my cancelled subscription expires, I still want one of the most enjoyable missions to be fixed rather than removed. Seems to be the CCP way at the moment - if it's not working properly, let's remove it and spend the time we could have spent fixing it on less important things such as premium graphics.

Dispite my agents neglecting to give me this mission in over a year I always had fond memorys of the original shock of doing AE for the first time. Letting a new generation of players miss out on that experiance makes me a sad panda.

I'd like to have AE back for 2 reasons:
1) For some reason I never actually ran the mission and I'd love to give it a go
2) We have few enough missions as it is -- we need all the variety we can get!

I've been running missions in 0.5 and 0.2 and have not had it for a long time now all i have had recently is Pot and Kettle (1-5) and rouge drone harassment and damsel in distress 
CCP pleases bring back AE it was the best mission
PS I've never had any faction item from the bonus room

i mean, if their scared of the drop table for the bounus room... just disable the bonus room till you have time to fix it... (if thats possible...) that sounds a bit better to me, than just disabling the entire damned thing

Signed, I guess. Altho to be honest I did not particularly like AE (crap bounties on angel's and too many small ships plus/or too small reinforcment waves). But it had overall reasonable amount of those bounties so at the end of day it was still better than some of the current 'timesink' type of missions with long distances between gates and only few rats like massive attack and the score.

I'll sign this too, It's my second favorite mission, and even though I've only gotten junk drops from the battlestation and the retirement home, it's still fun to blow up the trigger ship and tank the whole bonus room at once.

Hehe, I remember doing an AE with a bunch of other guys (mostly months older than me) in a Merlin. I hit the gate while the Scorp that was tanking the bonus room was still aligning, so the first thing in was my little Merlin. I think I lasted all of 3 seconds while the missiles took their time to get to me Might have been GE 4 though, can't remember, it was over a year ago.
That mission was definitely a test of your skills the first time you did it solo, especially in armor tanked ships.
Bring it back, and bring it back in its full glory. While you're at it, bring out an equivalent Sansha or Blood mission to put some fear into the CNR/Drake crowd.
