Because, tbh... the races are kind of boring in that each race/tribe looks to similar to each other. I also have a feeling there will be epic levels of whining along the same level of "WTF Baby Blue Gallente Ships!?!?!" when people realize their chars won't look anything like they do now. I made a light hearted thread about it last year about one of the possibilities. But just wait and see. Once ambulation gets here, you'all are gonna be like, "Damn, Roy... You were right! There are a few more races in the back story (at least one more Minmatar Tribe, atleast 1 more Gallente Federation member, and at least one more conquered Amarr civilization; not to sure about Caldari, but thats easily solved). If CCP do feel the need to bring in a new spate of playable bloodlines, it'd be nice if they used the opportunity to balance out the ethnic groups a bit. Another black-looking race, or maybe some hispanic/meditarranean looking chaps. Regardless of any racism in this thread, I'm dissapointed that it's even discussed. Black chars would be cool though, I've had friends tell me they'd like to play a black character. It'd be nice to revamp portraits a bit and let everyone change em once, there's the brutor who are black but you're also tied to a starting race-skillset and the attributes of brutor, while Achura might be better but not in sync with how you look irl.
