Ok. I think there is too much 'Foo Forah'about 'coloored issues'.
But I understand this one.
In order to obtain my desired level of charisma. I was forced to look like this 'chinese person' you see to my left.
While I am a some what 'fat'nugly' Definately White guy. If I could choose my Image would be a somewhat less fat (Im not really ugly  ) White bearded guy.
While I do have some options to change my R/L apperance. I feel I am wrongly limited in Eve.

I understand the desire to have an avatar that resembles you in RL, and therefore see that for some people, that representation is lacking. But look at the bigotry and ignorance that's come out just from this post. Imagine what they'd do if you could have black avatars. How much GM resources would have to be used to monitor all the racist names and stereotypes players would come up with? Just by skimming this thread i saw one person refer to "oriental[s]" and generic "chinese" looking toons for the asian blood lines.

I don't like the way the OP raises his question. I mean its subtle but coming here asking "why are there no dark skinned characters" (which we all know isn't even exactly accurate) is another thing than just asking "can we have a bigger variety of darker skinned character". I'd prefer the latter to be honest and i must say i have the strong feeling that the OP is indeed a troll.
However his attempt failed miserably which is a good thing. So lets discuss the second question instead: "Can we please have more dark skinned bloodlines?".
I for one would specifically love to have a character that looks exactly like halle berry. Nude. And yes i am dead serious, so plz make it happen.
Edit: That would also the only thing that would make me look forward to ambulation and related crap. Just don't forget to install pleasure hubs so halle and i can have our private time once in a while.

People forget the definition of real racism. Racism = hatred towards a person because of race.
There is no hatred being expressed in this thread as far as I can see. (I didnt get a chance to read the modded posts though so I'm not 100% sure).
Making a racial joke is not neccessarily racism unless it is intended to hurt the feelings of the jokee based on race.
The colonial times are over, the 20th century is over, WWII is over, and times have changed, thus I dont think people need to make such a big deal out of threads like these.
Even if there is a racist 'tone' in someone's speech you can't suppress someones thoughts. If they hate, they will hate - no amount of talking/education/beatings is going to stop them from thinking like that anyways - so the lesson is:
STOP MAKING A BIG DEAL OUT OF IT! When that happens, you will see that this thread wouldn't have gone on for nearly as long as it has now.

Yes I did, since the post was relevant to your initial claim. You took it as a personal attack when it wasn't intended as such. I thought you'd realize that I was merely trying to continue the discussion about racism. You said that people who care about it are the more racist of us and I in turn, claimed that people who are offended often have tendencies to be racist. Was my post irrelevant? Why did you take it as a personal assault and not simply as a discussion? Do you think that you can judge who are more likely to be racist without getting a response?
