It's so unfair
I've been kicked out of The Graduates because I haven't been spending enough time doing BRUCE activities.
I was kicked out of Interstellar Starbase Syndicate for the same reason.
I enjoy ratting, trading, and making ISK in 0.0 but it's finding time for corp activities that's more difficult.
CEOs seem to think I'm up to something dodgy.
Has anyone else had the same experience?
Is there a 0.0 corp that would welcome someone like me?

Every corp and alliance has the right to dictate what they want form their members. If you join an alliance with an agenda you would be expected to contribute to that agenda first before your own desired activities.
You should seek a corp or alliance that has an agenda that matches the way you want to play the game. Or one with no agenda and just a loose assembly of people to make friends with. ------ Shakor Clan Information Portal |

Actually, I agree with you.
I wonder if there is a corp that would welcome 'civillians' of 0.0, like me?

why would a corp want you in they corp as all you seem to want is to improve your own wallet. Corps/Alliances need members who are willing to work for the good of the corp/alliance and not just for them self.
Find a alliance that owns space and does not shoot reds/neutrals and go to they space and just rat and make isk.

LOL Are you seriously saying that you think you've been treated unfairly, as you want all the benefits of a 0.0 corp without doing anything to deserve it?
Sounds to me like ISS and BRUCE made a good decision dropping you.
There are corps that would allow you in though. A lot of corps pay rent to live in other people's space. In this case, all that would be expected of you is that you npc and the corp gets it's 10% (or whatever the tax rate is). I'd look out for a corp like that if I were you.

There be your problem. You're a complete and utter carebear (not said in a derogatory manner, seriously). If that's all you enjoy doing then do it in empire via missions, market. 0.0, particularly in alliances like BRUCE and ISS, is more about the corp and alliance and shooting crap.
Also - you really don't sound like a team-player kind of guy, and for someone who's been very vocal on the forums about alot of alliance related stuff, you've now shown yourself to be someone who should now be ignored. You obviously never got around to that 'PVP' thing.

Kinda have to agree with people Jack. You must at the very least be willing to engage in your area. I'm not a big fan of PvP either but I understand about participating in Ops. There are areas of nullsec you can go to where you need only worry about the roaming pirates. The custodians of that space will at least ignore. Set standings to identify them and take your chances as a loner. Can't have your cake and eat it to.

I would PVP - but I've never disliked anyone enough to go to war with them (yet).

What you are asking is similar to asking if there is a country in the world that would welcome you as a citizen, without requiring you to pay taxes and/or obey the law.
So, generally, no. ____

Edited by: Lui Kai on 10/02/2008 12:02:54 As suggested above - you're best off looking for a corp who is renting off a landholding alliance. Those types are typically satisfied with taxes or dues as your "commitment" to them. I'd recommend making a post in the recruitment forum, clearly outlining what it is you're looking for, and what you're offering.
Essentially - Willing to pay taxes/fees, want to be otherwise left alone.
Edit: The alternative is just to set yourself up in NPC 0.0, or ninja-rat anywhere. ----------------

- Yeah ... look, seriously, try empire. And get rid of the BRUCE logo in your sig. Or join an ISK farmer corp, just don't expect people to like you.

I would second the above posters by saying you should look into a corp that rents .0, or joining an empire based corp. You can actually make about as much grinding missions in high sec as .0 mining/ratting, if thats your thing. Not everyone has time or desire to do the corp ops, and theres plenty out there that exist purely for the self-benefit of their members. _________________ [IMAGE REMOVED] -- aka Cpt Bogus -- Is that my torped sig cloaking your base?

Corps / alliances full of freeloading carebears fall to bits at the first sign of an external threat. Its therefore bad form to let people like you in.
Look at KOS for an example of the type of alliance you are / were looking for. Then look at what happened to them.

you obviously have trouble seeing outside the bubble around yourself. if you refuse (or can't) work together with others then there's a place for you, empire. it's more than obvious that the greater rewards in this game are achieved through teamwork. if you want the greater rewards without putting towards the collective efforts to secure and maintain the infrastructure then you have a lot to learn about the game and life.
you sound completely selfish and willfully ignorant to the reasons why people see you this way.

Hi there, you can always goto CVA space in providence, they will let you do what you like in their space, providing you dont kill other people in their space, you could also do some ninja ratting in syndicate or outer ring , since there is quite a few npc stations in there.
I'm not sure about Delve since the coalition is there now but there is also good rats to kill there and BoB was not too much of an annoyance a few months back, might be risky now tho.
