ITT: serious lack of Honey & Clover and Nodame Cantabile.
No series/movie but H&C made me that emo/lol irl with such short time spans between the two (we're talking seconds, here). Also great music/animation/overall visual style, for both.
Also THANKS ******* TONS for making me watch Code Geass before the 2nd season even started. Arrrrgh, cliffhangers. |

Bamboo blade is good, but R+V is a bit ruined by the excessive fanservice (the manga is much much better). TAMNM makes me remember of another similar series, (He is my master) with the same ammout of fanservice but with a somewhat diferent cast.
oh and Shion no Ou is good. Very good actually. Not many anime explore Shougi like that one

Do you have any idea what it was like knowing they made each episode once a week, and they REALY mastered the art of cliffhangers at 23.....
Then 2 months before the dripping with eyecandy awesomeness of 24/25? Oh they are the masters of cliffhangers, you will learn to lve them in series 2 
to be honest I thought they were going to pull one of the endings where nothing makes sense and **** you viewers were lazy :P

Aye. I watched the trailer for the English Dub. It's getting the 3AM slot on Adult Swim, seems the series wasn't as popular as it could have been in the USA for that time...
If you want to here is the link, dosen't sound anywhere near as good in the Japanese cast - but the English cast does have Crispin Freeman as Orange-kun 
Might look at the first episode in English but they will have to do a lot of work to get it done well - but then most dubs suck arse anyway....
Thats C.C doing the intro iin the dub and the Emperor for the rest btw.
Oh, and for the ending..... look at what we know about the begining of season 2 - most people can't figure it out (it's 1 year after season 1).

Some people even went so far as to try and piece it together from the after echoes on the sound track. They actualy had him say the name in the script then they edited it out you see.
I posted it a while back on the ff forums as her being the elusive Elizabeth that is mentioned a few times in the series, almost as an easter egg.

there are quite a few things that bother me with True Tears... the biggest of which is that it's already clear who the makers of the series wants him to choose... *shrugs*
but anyway... the first episode of the newest Mai Otome OVA (Mai Otomoe 0)just got released! I'm very pleased =^_^=

in most series I've seen... the main character always chooses the first girl he meets in the show.
only seen a few exceptions to this... like in School days (Makoto!! most horrible main character in the history of anime! even worse than the SEED Destiny guy, actually)...

I'd really suggest you don't waste your time watching School Days.
honestly... while it'll be nice to be able to connect with people when they say "School Days sucks!", to know why they're saying that... but... that's really all you'll get out of it.
it's like taking a big whiff of ammonium just to get understand why people has such a weird reaction to it.
you'll regret it afterwards.
also, Minami-ke is indeed grand. but the second season is a bit lacking...

i have always really liked "outlaw star". been my favorite anime ever, only 1 season, and it had a kinda funky ending, but the rest of it was awesome!!!
ive also always liked the mobile suit gundam series, ghost in the shell, cowboy bepop and trigun.
