Bridge Mega Butterfly Remix anyone got a few good animes that are similar to these in graphical quality, which means nothing that looks like the horribly drawn DBZ characters. Grimpak Gallente Trinity Nova	Posted - 2008.02.13 11:51:00 - [7] Shion no Ou (Shion's King) if you can go past the fact that it is set around shougi (japanese chess), you have a very nice thriller there. it's still airing and I have my suspicions about who is the murderer (if it's the guy that who I think it is then it will be a letdown but I hope they pull a "perfect blue" out of this one) --- planetary interaction idea!

Lots of people adore Cowboy Bebop, but I never really got it. The other ones listed are various degrees of "not a waste of time." P.S. Fooly Cooly, can't believe I forgot that one. Azumanga Daioh is also awesome, but don't be expecting any gunfights or over-the-top drama. Also, the first dozen or so episodes of Ergo Proxy are somewhat enjoyable (mostly for double-barrel pump-action shotgun goodness).

Edit: But I second azumanga daioh and furi kuri (fooly cooly w/e you wanna call it) they aren't like what you've already watched but they are still very good. ---

Ugh, dubbed anime Out of all the anime dubbings i've ever seen, the ONLY one which didn't completely suck was Cowboy Bebop. Even the thought of a dubbed Death Note makes me cringe...

Crest and Banner of the stars was real good. Alot like eve, people plugging into their ships. Outlaw Star was fun, but the last time i watched it i was a kid. Hellsing was kickass Elfen Lied was awesome, very graphic and bloody. planetES is a series im watching now, pretty good. Shakugan no Shana is an ongoing series ive been watching, its good stuff i recommend it. Let them hate, so long as they fear-Caligula

I would say that the series is similar to Eve, but not with the plugging into the ships bit - note how every ship still has bridge crew, like the four officers + captain on the Basroil-class frigate.
