I accepted a courier contract and i paid 150M collateral. After that I noticed that the destination was in lowsec and i didnt want to go there because of the risk of losing my ship. Then I just trashed the item I was supposed to carry there.
Can someone help me how can I get my isk back? Will GMs give my money back if I petition this incident?

that's the risk you take when using contracts. always check the destination first.
and if you were performing a courier contract IRL, would you think you could get out of the contract consequence free and get your collateral back by destroying the delivery?
lol...

Oh..also...I accidentally trashed my Titan the other day, as well as my Thanatos, my Dreadnought, and a Navy Megathron..
Can the GM's give that back to me....

But seriously....
You accepted a contract, having been told of the destination...(if you didn't notice before hand then you were lazy)..You paid the fee.....you then destroyed the item you had paid to deliver....and you want your money back?
lol

2. Don't take courier contracts. Unless they've gotten better since the last time I looked, they usually suck.
3. Just out of curiosity, what was the item you trashed?
*edit* 4. Jabba's through with you. He has no time for smugglers who drop their shipments at the first sign of an Imperial cruiser.

It's not a scam if you're too chicken to move the stuff to lowsec...
If you trashed the item then it's going to be a little difficult to convince the contract issuer to give your collateral back.

Your scared that the mean ebil piwats are gonna hit you, so you destroy the item and want money back....
EVE doesn't work like that.
If the OP replies, I'd love to see it

This, pretty much. Always make sure you read contracts before accepting them.

I really dont feel that this is fair. It was some probe launcher and i tried to sell it on market at first but it refused to be sold. I thought that destroying the item would reset the contract but it seems that it didnt happen?

so you accepted a courier contract you didn't actually intend on doing, thought that 150m for a probe launcher was a reasonable amount of collateral, tried to sell it on the market rather than delivering it, and then once you knew you couldn't do it you destroyed it and expect to get your collateral back...
you scammed yourself. |

Oh yeah , 2x Sisters of Eve scan probe launchers to move to lowsec , that was obviously a scam - if you can't sell it on the market it must be worthless , right ? Must have been set by evil freighter gankers , name and shame !

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHA
Spoking Like a true WOW player...
You don't get your own way and isk...so you destroy it and stomp your feet to get your isk back...
"You don't think it's fair"...
Aww diddums...
Out of interest...someone asked you to move an item to lowsec and asked you to pay collateral..
And you thought that they would reward you destroying their item by paying you isk?
What was your logic for coming to this conclusion..........

Wait. So, some dude wanted his stuff moved to low sec, and offered to pay money. You paid the 150m collateral, you took his stuff and agreed to deliver it. Then, since you realized the destination was low sec you got scared, so you took his stuff and threw it away.
And now you want your money back?

Not fair? You destroyed it before asking ANYBODY in game about how to sort out your situation... you didn't read the details before hand... you call yourself 'small chimp'...

Hahahah... Dude, if you trashed a package you paid 150m collateral for that's your own fault. I do believe that there is a "Break Packaging" option on the bubble wrap, and then you'd have at least had whatever item you were hauling.
You lose

This incident, just as the scamming is all in your head; there was no scam and you will get no isk back, should have checked before accepting it, like any other.

I have to ask, how did you manage to get 150M in the first place
