tl;dr COSMOS missions are old and abandoned by CCP who are too busy playing space barbie while EVE is quickly dieing and failcascading because I NEED THAT MONOCLE.

Seriously though, COSMOS is broken to fudge and back from data center agents to the mission agents giving modules that are worse to fit than T1 in some cases.

The problem with accusing someone of lying is that there is always two sides to the story.

Player: Help me GM I lost my ship to a DC/lag

GM: Our logs show nothing

Player: Your lying, my client wa laggy/dc'd

Both are correct but both could accuse the other of lying about it because neither side has access to the others.


I'd imagine getting to be a DEV/GM in EVE is not something they give away in a crackjack box (maybe apart from the chap who came up with the NEX store) and he/she really has no reason to lie, he /she has a mutlitude of other excuses they can use.

Use the petitioning system to complain not the bloody forums you just come across as a bit of a spoilt child who isn't getting his own way.

I cannot and will not discuss individual or specific petitions or cases on the forums. If you wish to revisit these cases or wish to file a complaint about the way these petitions were handled then that complaint will have to be handled through the petition system. Communication about petitions is considered private and I will not compromise that privacy.

I can assure you, though, that any complaint will be handled with care and taken seriously. A senior GM will always be involved where complaints like these are filed.

No offence meant, but going by the way you posted here it sounds more likely to be more you not comunicating your problem clearly enough to them and they're misunderstanding you, either update your current petition or make a new petition explaining the issue clearly and calmly, step by step, and then place at the end of it "please can i have this issue escelated to a higher level, i would like it dealt with by a senior GM as it involves issues i have with GM's". That should get it to the right person, and hopefully they can help you out.

Yes as i thought... That really says nothing, it's not veryu clear and extremely rude, you need to be more clear and explain exactly what the problem is, not give some vague description that makes little sense.

I had a Cosmos agent expire after a few hours and I had spent a long time farming items for it, I didn't rage quit over it.

Dear, you are not addressing issues, or complaining, I wouldn't even say you are angry. You are throwing a tantrum. Right now you are the proverbial toddler clutching mommy's shopping cart screaming your lungs off because you didn't get what you want.

Now, I'm sure you and EVE go way back, I'm sure you've been disappointed before, I'm sure you feel you've got the right to complain. Trust me, you're not alone in that. But what you are doing right now is not going to help you get your petitions resolved, or your bugs fixed, all you do is make a fool of yourself.

This is a horrible thread.

First your wasting the GMs time by not properly escalating the petitions, but instead asking for a "full investigation" on the GMs who tried to help you and what the situation is.

Second your blaming the CSM for not looking/taking seriously your COSMOS BP idea. You do realize there are a multitude of other idea, issues, concerns that the CSM could be and are looking into. When it comes to COSMOS there are very few who actually care about it so its pretty much at the bottom of the list. Though it is true that COSMOS is just another feature thats buggy and incomplete and left to rot.

Lastly and most important...Use proper sentences and paragraph structure. I mean honestly it doesn't have to be perfect but having two line spacing between every sentence is horrific.

it is normally a term used when somebody says something you dont agree with ,
