Seems BoB have learned a few things from the goons.
1. Facts - These are always good, usually I don't see a lot of these from SirMolle but I gotta admit: this thread was pretty good.
2. Thanking the allies - This was a huge shock to me as well as most of EVE: BoB actually thanking their meatshields, Mindless Drones, Allies. Usually BoB strokes their own ego's, even when they're not out there fighting.
But we'll be back again, to fight another night and to try to take another jammer with 4 titans huddling beside it. Good fights is all BoB wants, right?

It's quite evident your alliance is not ready to die yet. It's ok we're patient and we'll keep prodding with a force that keeps your attention. You're reasonably confined even if that last sov4 const sucks. Give it another year and goons will do you on their own, their industrial wheels are already spinning much quicker than yours :)
The longer this takes, the more enjoyment we'll get from it. :)

I love both of these statements. We wish the goons luck in their industrial endeavours (try not to let anymore towers go offline due to fuelling guys, trust me I KNOW how annoying it is) - to build something surely is as satisfying as blowing it up.
And we're glad you get enjoyment out of it, Fred0, after all why else would you play?
We'd hate to think that you're not enjoying yourself and allied with people you despise, just because of little old us...

It seems GOONS also learned something from BOB considering how many meatshields, Mindless Drones, allies you have lost from delve or reset and stabbed in the back over the last few months. Maybe if you had not turned up in a lot of crappy ships while your allies turned up in BS they would think better of you and would have stuck around?.

You must be new to logic. You say BOB can't win a war with defense, yet this war is turning now due to defense. The best way to win a war is to not quote lines about defense and offense muttered by every numbnut, it's to do both to acheive what you need to.

Im not exaggerating when I say that our fleets have been working overtime to be able to get all those towers down and killed, before their sov claims kicks in.
Eagerly anticipating the next move from the coalition.

This is a pretty good thread. A basic statement of facts, very little overblown and pretentious chest-thumping to inevitably explode on you later, thanking the allies, and a very reasonable level of smack from most of the real posters, ******** alt trolls aside.
This is the way to do it.
I think it does say something that not getting mercilessly raped for a change is viewed as 'the war turning around.' It's comforting that our massive successes of the recent months give us a nice cushion to fall back on- a little failure here really isn't that big a deal, though we'd obviously rather have been successful.
Of course, the coalition's forward movement has been paused. You have the opportunity now to begin a counter-offensive and switch the momentum from the standstill it's at now to one that's perhaps actually actively negative to the coalition, so please make the most of it.
In conclusion, bring back the ******** braggery of the past, it was much easier to mock you for.
A quick edit, on the topic of the alts. It's interesting to see the goon 'I LOVE YOUR TEARS, LOOK AT CRYING' meme being turned around- but it's even being applied in the absence of much crying. It's funny to see how things that we popularized on the forums take on a life of their own and are applied (or misapplied, as the case may be) by others.
