Hey guys, BoB killed a bunch of towers this weekend.
Kind of like what we've been doing since July last year.

It's not that it doesn't exists, but rather that it doesn't have the same effect that it would on the surface of a planet.

Well the word "space" kinda gives it away dude as in nothing there to exert a gravitational force although if he had said "space near a strong gravitational force" you would have perhaps had a point.

I don't recall any RA towers in Delve currently. Actually I don't remember any RA ships there at all recently - which is quite understandable though.
Nice defence BoB, if that will be enough? Who knows. But at least it is some sort of defence. Looks like BoB has the momentum at the moment.

Have you seen the size of Shrike's balls? They don't just have their own gravitational system, they've got their own ecosystem. It's a pretty horrible ecosystem mind you.

GF for BoB killing a bunch of towers I guess.
Does this mean we get to have a K/D ratio with towers too?
That would be awesome.
Because after all, K/D ratios matter more than anything else in Eve.
Well, other than finding ways to divert attention from losing like 400 regions.

Why doesn't it? Reason through your statements. Eventually you'll realise that the initial statement was wrong.

I've actually dined in NOL several times over the past month or so - most recently with a delicious cup of noodles.

It has the same effect its just massively weaker and so would not effect a pendulum.
If you watch the guys in the shuttle while its in close orbit they float around in for all intents and purposes zero G so a pendulum would have no force pulling it down to start its swing and so would not work.
Stop asking pointless questions im drunk.

So what you meant when you spammed the forums with 'tonight we dine in nol' was 'at some point in time I might grab a quick dunkin donuts snack there, but I'm not sure when'.
I kind of figured a year was long enough for most people to achieve it. Don't want to rush you, or anything.

About the Nol thing,
Goons & Friends did Dine in NOL, they got Caps in Systems, Contested SOV and gave Band of Brothers a fight.
The fact that Goons a bunch of low SP characters were not only able to Invade NOL but to be instrumental in the capture of several Delve Outposts and systems is pretty amazing.
Plus the fact that Band of Brothers is down to a dozen plus systems.
This is not to say that Band of Brothers can not or will not gain back any systems. I would be beyond suprised if they did not.
But the fact that they got pushed back to a handful of systems is not something anyone would have guess a year ago.

Welcome to 1943.
BoB pulls a "Battle of Britain"
My prediction : GS backstab RA, RA goes Hulkamania on GS, Mittani pods himself in his bunker, TCF sides with BoB, MC becomes Cuba, RA and BoB become the two major rival powers of EvE, have a cold war that lasts 50 years.
You heard it here first.

I think we all stopped counting after 9-9 and 66-, but it's probably between 200-300 bob/pet large pos's killed by now, maybe more.
Kind of got cancelled out by the titan kill though, didn't it?

Dianabolic,
Actually your right but wrong at the same time.
Some Characters in Goon have decent SP ,but thats a much smaller percentage of the Alliance then lets say in BoB.
Overall , Band of Brothers has more high level hard core SP Characters.
Plus Band of Brothers and Goon are very different.
Band of Brothers is actually Band of Brothers plus the remains of dozens of absorbed Alliances that are hardcore players. The Creams of PvP EVE ( Well second cream behind Tri)
Goons, well mostly a bunch of drunk men that find their greatest joy when they suicide a ship/fleet or getting killed by Concord after slamming into a high sec Hulk.

Grats to BoB.
After all the boasting from the cryalition, and their time tables of doom, and how BoB were dead after Tortoga, and that 90% of EvE were going to kill them, all that is left is trolls and bitterness.
I am enjoying this immensely.

Depends on your measurement of success. Bob typically likes the K/D ratio, coalition goes by station systems. yay both sides are winning and losing yay \o/

IIRC the gravitational force is the force that is less influenced by the distance, also the weakest of all. Galaxies are mostly like they are because of the gravitational force.
