BoB are so hard core, they refused to engage us without four titans under a cyno jammer.
BoB might be stupid enough to make another play for QY6, but I don't think they will, because not being able to blow your enemy away with F1 kind of ruins the game for them.

This is a pretty good thread. A basic statement of facts, very little overblown and pretentious chest-thumping to inevitably explode on you later, thanking the allies, and a very reasonable level of smack from most of the real posters, ******** alt trolls aside.
In response to whoever was surprised there was more goon smack in this thread, it's because our smack only really comes out in force when there is something stupid or ridiculous to mock. If you stay reasonable, factual and realistic, IT IS MUCH HARDER TO TROLL YOU WELL. Of course, this implies unpleasant things about the day to day level of discourse by BoB and in CAOD in general (cause we do smack a lot), but what can you do.
This is the way to do it.
I think it does say something that not getting mercilessly raped for a change is viewed as 'the war turning around.' It's comforting that our massive successes of the recent months give us a nice cushion to fall back on- a little failure here really isn't that big a deal, though we'd obviously rather have been successful.
Of course, the coalition's forward movement has been paused. You have the opportunity now to begin a counter-offensive and switch the momentum from the standstill it's at now to one that's perhaps actually actively negative to the coalition, so please make the most of it.
In conclusion, bring back the arrogant braggery of the past, it was much easier to mock you for.
A quick edit, on the topic of the alts. It's interesting to see the goon 'I LOVE YOUR TEARS, LOOK AT THE CRYING' meme being turned around- but it's even being applied in the absence of much crying. It's funny to see how things that we popularized on the forums take on a life of their own and are applied (or misapplied, as the case may be) by others.
What a load of pretentious drivel. Bookmarked this post to mock it mercilessly when Goons try to stand alone.
Ha ha ha.

Whats gamebreaking here is not titans and cynojammers individually, its when you combine the two.

Congratulations BoB and allies on a good defence last week after a failed attempt to take back qy6.
To me it was impressive to see you bounce back so quick, which is credit to your pilots, FCs and your alliance.
I am sure no one expected this to be over fast and time will tell how this affects momentum or who pulls through a prolonged stalemate (should there be one).

Give it a week or so and I'll be back on form.

It's kind of like that bit in Men in Black where the old veteran agent realizes he's looking at the stars and thinks they're kind of pretty. I guess it's because it's the start of a new era, and the time of RSF is over. That said, someone will come along and zap me back to life when there's money to be made from a sequel.
Seriously, Marakor - have you ever looked up at the stars in Eve and realized how beautiful they are?
The only star in eve i look for is on CAOD and his initials are GWP from Skullduggery Inc.

I actually don't understand what the suprise is that Band of Brothers might manage to defeat GoonSwarm.
Band of Brothers has more:

Titans
Carrier and Dread Capitals
Hardcore PvP Players
Players with High SP
Resources available in the way of wealth
The only thing that Goons had in the past was an ability to get other Alliances to extend a Nap against your forces.
The very fact that a bunch of Noobs in Goon managed to get as much SOV in 0.0 is actually pretty amazing.
