how about making it WORK for every one before taking away the manual patch download.how do you expect anyone to import the patch if there is no where to download it from in the first place, put it behind a log on webpage by all means but at least allow the download |

tried many things to get on the sisi but nothing help me
when i create a shortcut with parameter the launcher start (i can see it for a while only in proces manager) and then dissapear
ti tried to:
these instructions "http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Singularity" and nothing help
tip from J'J'J'Jita on both sisi installer from web and copied version of eve, nothing work, luncher still dissapear
and some other like this paramete /server:87.237.38.50
but nothing make the launcher continue :(

Dear friends! The EVE Online Launcher v.1.17 from Singularity patcher is now bugged. It is not updating anymore for me. While trying to update (aktualizing) it is starting the patcher tool and starting the first step. After app. 3% (up to 12%) in this step the progress bar is jumping to app. 25% and than it is breaking up with the error message: "An error occured while applying patch, the launcher will now try to apply the patch safely with raised privilages." Than a "Applying patch" message is showing up which pops an other "applyPatch" message which is saying: "Uanable to apply patch It is recomended that you restart your computer and then run the EVE Online launcher again." I did that several times, all with same result. The launcher doesn't works anymore. I tryed to cleanup all catches, deleted all patches in the Singualrity folder, started and updated the repair tool, but all that did not helped. Also opening/starting the launcher as administrator did not work. The launcher is not working anymore. I had same problem after the Crucible 1.6.3 update with the Tranquility folder, but after rebooting the computer it worked and the launcher could update and load the game, NOT so on Singularity.
Please help me out with tat

Problem solved, i have games at other drive than C\ so i try follow instruction but make evetest (thx to XEcuTioneRUK ) on C\ instead D\ where i have all my games and music and voila, its working, it look like D wasnt allowed on my system language version (and i didnt use any specific letter from my language on drive name) |

Why no dev response on why Sisi launcher now tries to patch to TQ?
I know there is the fix where the user has to go in and edit the files, but really CCP...that's why we are PAYING YOU...to do the dev work for us...so that we don't have to manually adjust all the files from our end to make your product work correctly while you remain silent on the issue. |

There was a small update today after maintenance on Tranquility (2012-04-12) and I hoped it could help with the update (patch) on Singularity. So I made a fresh testserver installation with the Tranquility update from today but unfortunately with same result. In the downloading process (app. 60%) it got sam error message:

The launcher seems a good thing here so far, anything that helps the bug hunt is a great thing
Couple of observations
No Eve time displayed or access to any calendar - so many time zones would be useful to anyone planning operations or just checking if corp mates online
The transition into Eve proper is a bit clumsy, the intro music stutters along with the movement on the splash screen. - I think its waiting for something from the server or building the splash screen. An appropriate pause or delay before render would make it look a lot smoother
Just a poor initial impression. Yes im being fussy, but the initial image of a black screen and sound stutter is a pet hate. Reminds me of poor progamming in the past and makes a mockery of the latest hardwear. |

Just patched and try to log in and...no matter the PW or account I try to use just tells me my PW and/or Account name is invalid 
Mkay...so dl and patched something not working or whatever issue is with but can connect to TQ with every other account without an issue

I am currently unable to access Singularity due to the following Launcher behaviour.
After the Singularity Launcher (v.1.313) successfully applies EVE_Online_365518-367677_win.patch and claims the client is ready, I click "PLAY".
The login screen shows that I am running Version: 7.40.367677, but the server it is pointing at does not show up as Singularity but 87.237.38.54. Unsurprisingly the Status is "Incompatible (Protocol)".
By quitting the client and restarting the Launcher, it downloads and applies EVE_Online_367677-365518_win.patch, which seems to be a rollback to the previous version.
On clicking play and loading the login screen, Version: 7.40.365518 is displayed and the server is once again "Test Server (Singularity), but is still "Incompatible (Protocol)".
An old Client Patch dialogue box appears stating "New Build Available" which is 19.2 MB is size. Downloading prompts the client to close to allow the update process to begin. This installs EveOnlineLauncherInstaller_SISI_1_314.exe which fails to install completely with the message: "Warning: Multiple instances of the Launcher cannot be run from the same directory. This instance will now close."
The Launcher (now displaying v.1.314 despite the botched install) then downloads and applies EVE_Online_365518-367677_win.patch and the whole cycle begins again.
[I'm going to attempt the cycle once more but will close the Launcher before the client patch attempts to update it (assuming it tries to, I'm not certain that step occurred on previous attempts).]
Edit: I can confirm that manually closing down the Launcher prior to the client patch installing results in successful patching and return of server compatibility. Freebooted - Tech4 News - Incarna: The Text Adventure - Guild Launch EVE Correspondent |

I hate this new launcher. I deleted my client and reinstalled a new about three weeks ago and nearly 90% of the days i continue to get the folloiwng error message when logging into the game:
patch download found to be corrupt and unusable. Do you wish to try again.
I have authorized the patch to be installed at the higher security level and restart my machine as requested. Sometimes it works other times I wait a day to try the next day patch. I have also gone to your site to download the 3x client patch notes for currupt files, but have not done this because the explanation sounds like it will load a new client vice just the patch. Any suggestions? |

I have the same problem. Restarting and repair tool does not fix it for me, I am using Windows 7 Professional.
Edited to add: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=112399 Running the Evefile.exe from the bin folder works for me as a temp fix, link has more precise location. |

The old Sisi launcher is not supported any more. Copy the launcher used by your TQ version and direct the short cut per the Eve wiki instruction.
