Checked Kieron to see if he got any signatures to trace his whereabouts, but to no avail. Only trace: ISD HQ. He might be locked away on a Icelandic Azylum though. He hasn't posted since Feb 8th, 2008. That's about the time he was let go. Kieron's Last Posts I imagine we'll never know why he was let go, as that's an internal CCP matter. But, I WOULD like to know why the head liaison from CCP to their customers was released from service, with no notice to us, and no replacement in site. Considering the irony that it's his posting that tell you "all you need to know about Eve", it'd be nice to know what happened to his replacement. CCP: care to comment? How about naming his replacement?

We all know Kieron reads the boards, (but hasn't posted in 1.5 months now), so, one of two things will happen from this: 1) Kieron is alive and well. He WAS the liaison between CCP and us pod pilots, and he was a damned good one. Did he always get it right? No. Did he always do his best to be open and fair? I belive so. He answered out questins and gripes, and did so quickly. He didn't always please everyone, but hey, who can? Second, because as the CCP liaison, WE should have been informed of his removal. Not jsut because he was Kieron, but because that's an important posting in the CCP hierarchy. Who would you direct your questions/comments/gripes/conspiracy theories to now? I sure don't know, do you? So, while some people, (ok, all of you), are going to question the legitimacy of my claim, I'd rather let CCP prove me wrong.

By what I heard, he is involved in a eloborate project that CCP is working on. I doubt he has been let go. I think it's more along the lines that he's become very involved in the project and has been delegating duties to other members of the ISD team.

The messages of farewell to kieron in this thread prove that the community is alive and well, and that people want/need to know what happens to those we identify with within it. Take the "Innominate Nightmare" experience; we were left hanging with a question mark over our heads and huge efforts were made to find out what happened to the character. I know you can't force someone to write a goodbye note, but if we knew at least that someone had gone to pastures new, that would be a form of closure. I've mentioned before, I would like to see a section on the left hand side for our community team, so we could click and see a list of who's who. It fosters the feeling of inclusion within the community. There could be a section for new joiners and leavers and what their roles are in regard to us. It doesn't take much to keep everyone feeling happy and 'in the loop'. I know there's a sticky up top for Devs to announce themselves, but I don't feel that it does the job properly.
