Bruce is becoming a lost cause. I actually enjoyed playing my Bruce character for some time but have now come to realize Bruce's impending Doom.
The first problem is Bruce's inability to PVP. At first we started off strong, and I figured overtime we would learn to work as a team and become an very effective PVP Alliance that not only is effective, but can provide vast numbers to our gangs as well. To date that is all Bruce can do effectivly, provide numbers, and over time people are getting agrivated in chats, even the 150 or so we get in gangs is nothing compared to our over all numbers.
We don't initiate any attacks, most of the things we work on is defense. This will be our number one downfall. Instead of helping with the Great War we lined our pockets with isk, and continued to grow. This was good for us in one aspect but bad in another. We know that Goons will not help us, and with the latest loss's they have taken, not sure they can help us.
Bruce is ready for an active war against smaller alliances, and can provide efficient numbers to defend itself even with a bad PVP Force, the issue is when BoB attacks most of Bruce members will end up leaving or running to another area of space, it has already been said by countless members.
Bruce we need to wake up before our time comes to an end. |

BRUCE consists of 30 member corporations, 1823 pilots reside under its sovereignty.

There's their problem, 30 member corporations. If those 1823 pilots were in 10 corporations it would be much more efficient.
Anyway what do you get when fat carebears go together and form an alliance? Well you get a fat carebear alliance which has 100 pvp'rs protecting hundreds of carebears.

well this aint any good now is it....
I might go into a in depth analysis of the Bruce workings but its coad or caod or w/e...
Bruce are cool brosefs and they should set us blue...since they wont we just respect them and shoot all of them equally.

Bruce will probably fold like a wet paper bag when something challenges them.
this is what i speak from experiance when i was a in small alliance(150 or less members) and we fought bruce in syndicate.... they had over a 1000 players but got slaughtered almost all the time... think they only struck back once or twise but whit huge losses then also.
this is at least my personal view on things

Since bob was pushed back by the zerg armada a lot of the space they owned has been filled by empire noobs who were not ready for 0.0 and the way it works and now the uber blob is gone they are now suffering and complaining about everything from cloaking pvpers in there systems to being unable to put together a fighting force to hold there space.

haha i remember the recruitment threads. Want to join an alliance that want to achieve something? An alliance with goals?
several hundred members, and few months later we see BRUCE leaders being nothing but oppertunitists.. Moving to fountain, thinking BoB is already dead.
But look at things now. Everything just comes to show, how far will and wit will get you

A lot of corps move into 0.0 simply to find a place safe from high sec wardecs. This is why so many corps who expect others to do the fighting for their "right to mine", and compleatly fail to understand why they get their asses handed to them.
This is not a slant against bruce since Bruce actually undock and fight unlike most of the new carebear generation. I have been in some good fights against Bruce in the past, and they have been great fun people to pvp against. Of course, this was a while back but Bruce needs to make sure that the influx of gold diggers who care only about themself do not tarnish their ability. History has always proved that gold diggers kill off alliances more than any number of wars (and pvp actually makes corps/alliances stronger as it weeds out the wasters). Even ASCN started off as a PvP alliance until the carebear cancer got rooted in too deeply.
So Bruce, keep fighting, keep learning, start booting gold diggers and never follow the mistakes of what other dead alliances have done. Otherwise, all you end up with is another repeat of a typical "industral alliance".

You dont have to be a 10.000 members big Alliance leader to see that coming.
But what i actually mean is that lot of Corp`s/Alliances always start crying for Goons to clean the mess up.
If those alliances are depending so much on Goons than you should better just join Goonswarm.
Much easier to me.
Clean up your own mess or disband Alliance.

i heard few times from different people that when small bob gang want to engage bigger bruce gang (when they shows on local), bruce pilots ran away from system, maybe thats why sooner or later bruce will loose fountain.

From my past experience to Bruce, they are one thing that other similar blobby alliances weren't. They were able to muster defense almost on the spot, in a gang like manner. That's better than the default reaction of other alliances, which is stay docked.. or warp in 1's and two's to the slaughter.
Besides, with 4000 people it's hard to not have a blob when you ask for x's i assume ;)
They also don't smack, their leaders seem very intelligent and foward thinking. Bruce has always been surprising in making my stereotypes of big fat alliances false for them.
