As for isk, refusing to sell loot at discount does nothing to stop bounty payments for missions. As for losses on Trit... well priced at 3 or less as it was, was no great loss... and as I see trit is now about 4 and rising, I'd say most of Eve disagrees with you.

In other words, pilots that have given up and sold out to the Oligarchs. The only thing the Oligarch are interested in is Cheap Minerals, Moon Mining, T2 BPOs, and how to keep exclusive control of these. Oh yes, and RULING EVE. And if Trit moves to 8 isk per unit then more wealth will flow to the miners... and who know what they might do with that...

I firmly believe that once the "sellers" of Eve are a bit more educated regarding the real economic balance in the game between the Oligarchs and themselves, they will be considerably less willing to accomodate cheaply and adamantly opposed to serving in their ranks without first getting a MUCH larger piece of the pie... (or cake as some here prefer).
