Set your Trit prices to 8.00, others will follow suit. It may take a little longer to sell *initially* but once others follow and any cheap trit is gone they will have *NO CHOICE* but to pay 8.00 FOR YOUR HARD WORK!

Hmm very interesting.
I wasn't aware of this shuttle recycling mechanic previously (been playing a few months but still kinda newbish) Over the last few days there has been a definite noticeable climb in Tritanium price (3.25 up to about 3.73 now). May sound small but it can translate to millions in additional profit when selling large.
I think I'll just stockpile trit at jita for the moment, and see just how far this price rise climbs.

Of course, raising the price of tritanium, will ultimately result in a rise in the cost of the items it is used to produce. So while we may suddenly feel that we can make extra profit by jacking our prices, ultimately we will have to pay more for the modules/crystals/ships we want to buy.
Make more isk, but have to spend more isk. isn't this what inflation is?

Not when the comrade miners have the minerals to build their own! Module BPO's are cheap, as are a lot of ship ones. For Cruisers and Battleships, comrades can pick up a few BPC's and build their own - with their OWN minerals and sell the ships on - benefiting from the increased price hike in both minerals and ships!
Comrades, mine yourselves, build yourselves - take control! As Comrade Commizzar correctly said we have been the down-trodden under dogs for too long, now we can control the minerals and therefore the production and prices!
It is now time for the comrade miners to stop being cheap labour and cheap slaves being exploited for cheap minerals! Why should we work really hard so someone can come along and pay a pittance for our minerals and get a fat wallet of ISK whilst we make next to nothing!
Mine comrades, build comrades and don't sell your minerals for anything less that it's truly worth!

Incorrect!
It is simply not efficient nor productive to reprocess massive amounts of civilian modules for the minute amount of Trit they give. 1 module gives 60 Trit or so.
But how many modules can you get in one station?
Do you want to spend all night reprocessing things?
What about the loss of minerals due to poor skills?
What about the loss of minerals due to low standings with that facility?
This is simply not an efficient or time well spent way compared to buying your Trit on the market.
The comrade miners now have a voice and now set the prices. The reprocessing "issue" is a non-issue! Even it if wasn't, the demand would far outstrip the supply!
The main supply of Trit comes from the comrade miners! The comrade miners now set the prices to a fair and reasonable price for their labour, no longer are we your slaves, no longer are we your cheap labour!

The average smithy working in his shop might not be able to do it, but there are always scampers who will do the work for them. I say the united miners lay siege on the systems where these modules are sold and hound (and occasionally stone) anyone who buys them until their demands are met! |
