Well to be honest you wont see any sign of the F-E till after shivra, and if shivra sucks and promises are not fulfilled you may see a bunch of high sp accs on a certain auction site

so a 50 ship ca/fe battle fleet rolled through you neighbor's systems and attacked your neighbor's and you didn't see a threat worth responding too but less then 6 frigs a week and now you want to patrol tribute.
seriously your threat assessment protocol needs an overhaul

Tribute is no big loss, however, vale of the silent is of strategic importance, not only to what remains of the F-E, but to Curse too.
Personally, I think in the absence of a controlling force, The Vale should just be made into a DMZ, but that's my opinion.
Personally, I have no stake in the Vale anymore, other than as a transit route. Like most of the rest of the F-E, I'm still weighing offers on which corporation to join.
However, nature abhors a vacuum, and I think pirate activity will once again be heavy in this region.
Just a guess.

Good on ya PA for your refreshing outlook on these regions. I only hope that certain alliances can see the advantages in opening up space to all-comers in both the development of current players and the long term attraction of players to this game. Let us hope that this provides a catalyst for a shift in attitude of the bigger, more resourcful corps and the alliances they represent. We offer our support to this brave new dawn.

I think that NORAD won't soon forget our 9 ships obliterating a force of 15 battleships and 23 frigates.
