Probing, when probing took skill it was easy to avoid and take advantage of knowing how to probe. Now that all it takes is 1 noob with some trained skills to probe you down in 20 seconds, its fairly easy to see why skill is no longer relevant. Avoiding getting a 50 man blob along with 50 fighters on your head is what the cloaks are for nothing more. Those that think we use to to panic the locals or whatever are just reading too far between the lines. When we are cloaked and not doing anything most likely we are away from the computer, or playing WoW in Evil's case. And who ever this alt is that is smacking Shin, grow a pair and say it with your main. Cause I hate to think we have someone on TS with us that has to hide behind a security blanket to get his point across.

We like to challenge our selves, while in the process out witting our enemy. When the number one concern in your engagement is module lag, you need to stop and rethink just what it is you are doing. And lets face it, you hardly ever flew with us your former leaders goals were always to build a carebear heaven. You guys even because ASCN pets to be allowed to mine that roid. So lets not start remembering the good old days of your pvp, cause honestly it never exhisted.

Since we are the ones who adapt, change setups, tactics and what not, and still get the job done with small numbers. While most others just throw more numbers at the problem and maybe a few capitals to be sure. We are not out after anyones space. We are simply after your loot. If you figure out how much isk/hour/char you're making there are other ways to make more isk. Smashkill has lost way way way more isk on fairly routine battles that were over in less than hour. What is different here is that Burn Eden has the patience to stay on a single gate and make a CAOD post about it. Burn Eden is certainly good at what you do. I also think you're seriously overrating your effect and the economics of the situation. To put this in perspective, 10bil in 2 weeks isn't bad for a series of corp mining ops a few hours every night. It represents about the effort of 5 people seriously ratting. So then take the value of fittings and ships spread out across a few thousand. Say we're looking at 100bil in losses. This represents maybe an hour of ratting per month for the average person. Many don't rat/mine all of the time. They rat/mine until they have enough to buy a ship and outfit it. They fly it. They lose it. They repeat the process. Losing ships often simply changes the formula towards a bit more isk making. We're back at someone spending an hour extra ratting versus looking for pvp. This isn't a zero sum game where isk disappears. If someone isn't paying attention and gets ganked, yes it may hurt them. They deserved it. For most this is simply a nice way to have some fun. At least for bwf if you'll look it has always been this way. Every month or two someone camps it. Carriers and gangs go have fun. A post on COAD follows. The names in local change. Thats about it. Most of the kills there are either ganks on those who cannot check intel or folks that are bored. It doesn't exactly take much to get a 30-40 man gang together with cap support.

I know 10 bil isnt that much compared to what you can make by mine/produce/rat and so on. I remember when I was in an alliance. I could make 100 mil in 1 day if I dedicated my self to ratting... So in theory I could make 1 bil in 10 days and 3 bil in a month. But to be honest, my wallet hardly tipped over 1 bil...

I dont like blob fight I like old style low number gang flying around and try get good fights, like we make in 4 peoples yesterday - meet 6 man gang and fight together. I just simply dont understand that caod posting from BE how they make their way in another alliance space. They are great in PvP a way better then me but I always have rights and I will uses my point of view when I like and how I like. I dont like that they jumping in band wagon every time they decide, but that is another history. To BE why you not stay like in old days out of any alliances and do your job - you changed to mecenary now?. Now I can back to my worm hole :)

I too once used to be in HUZZAH. I remember being in 25 man gangs to 300 man fleets. I remember the sole rule of engagement those days.... Zarnie Woop - "We cant engage! We dont have enough people!" Besides whats the difference of cloaking in a safe in a hostile system waiting to engage, as opposed to gathering at a pos in your own system and waiting till you have enough to engage? BE/ TI will always have my uttermost respect for the way they pvp in the game. it's effective, it's thrilling, it's fun and imo TI is the best pvp in the game yuo cant compare tri with BE. Tri goes in close and if odds are more or less even or even abit worse for them, will engage.They are imho one of best small squad pvp forces in Eve atm, respect from me.They also dont dop the whole smack down on their enemies... BE will sit with sniper on a gate and pop passing ships, retreating atm an opposite gang appears.How can you say its fun or very demanding? Yea they are great at that and will have great kill/death radio.Not my game or respect tough. - Killing Eve bullies all over the galaxy hunting stories
