Macros are here to stay. Way too much money in all those accounts for CCP to want to get rid of. |

some of them cnr fits are worth an insta -5 sec
now what about vastly decreased hauler kills in lowsec
and for 1 ship kill the sec loss is very minimal. once you start hitting pods is when it gets bad. or say 100 haulers a day
well since i can only gain sec status once every 15mins i should only be able to lose sec status once every 15mins, |

ROFL... Love it!
I think of carebears, it's sort of an obsession! They have cargoholds a plenty and their smack is brilliant |

Worry not, in highsec you won't lose sec status more than once every 15 mins. |

best idea evar
- remove belts from highsec all together put them in lowsec nullsec only.
- if any roids do remain in high sec set the max radii to say 100 or less so they die to fast to be harvested. Macro's go to low sec - everyone is happy.

one reason - several people are itchy on the trigger finger and many more run several accounts. i personally turn local blink off all but one or two clients, depending on character, and think its just as unfair for someone who thinks i'm a macroer just because i won't respond to their idiot pages on all my accounts right when they say something.

I never get itchy on the trigger finger. If noone responds to local or private convo then I start flipping cans to get a responce. If after all that noone responds its time to break out the anti-macro protocols of which there are many effective recourses with a suicied gank being the last thing I will try due to the harsh sec hit penalty.

They do and most likey would but other than that tiny blip on the map where the goons were running their little jihad pr stunt suicide ganking is a one of the least common ways to die in Eve. Besides CCP could halve the hit for ship destruction and triple the hit for podding. This would make it very very risky to use smartbombing ships and would force most suiciders into ships you *might* have a chance to tank. It could work.
To die (being killed while in the pod) sure, to lose a ship, no, it is common.
Pass through Madmillare (SP) near Amarr and you will see that it is costantly gate camped by suicid gankers. You will find several high sec systems with the same situation.

Ok, but you gain it only killing player pirates, -5 or less.
You lose sec only killing players ships and pods, so you sould gain it only killing players and pods.

Yes this I know but I said getting your ship turned to dust bunnies by suicide gankers was the least common way for a player to lose his stuff in Eve and not that it never happens. Gatecamp threads are the same way. We get people ranting and raving about them all the time saying what a horrible situation for the good players of Eve to have to deal with and how unfair it all is to honest peace loving haulers just wanting to move thier billions around empire. But in reality gate camps are few and far between and are probably right next to suicide ganking in terms of total ships destroyed. Halving the sec hit won't magically make new gankers appear out of the woodwork to be a new scourge of the spaceways but only make the ones currently doing it last longer before having to go raise thier sec status.

The relative number of ship killed by suicide gankers is an opinion as we don't have the data. I am not convinced it is so low, but that is an opinion (BTW, if you don't see gatecamps in EVE, try flying a bit in low sec and 0.0).
But the question i simple: you want suicide gankers to last longer without need to mending the standing, I feel that is a very egoistical and unfair request. You simply want to ave more fun at the expense of other players fun. I don't see why I should reduce my or my friend fun because you want more.
