Answer my question (Diana preferably) and I'll answer yours.

Yes, because we'd have just anchored new towers (smalls can fit a jammer I believe) to sit the jammers on whilst we needed them.
It's a discussion to nowhere imo, though, "if" never got anybody anything. Reikoku Diplomatic Forums

Coalition lost a titan and from then on RA would not commit anymore assets, hence Goons could do nothing, their leadership failed and they started naming stations "Everyone Move to Delve" in their own constellations in desperation. Everyone else got off the failboat after that. Postman Pat

Fair enough. Did they ever manage to knock that pos into reinforced in the first place? I'm too lazy to breeze through CAOD to find that one. I ask because if they haven't... it renders my entire point moot.

Yes, Colsup self-destructed ships before a pos got destroyed by a large Bob gang. Colsup didn't have any backup alaivable at the time, and the few pilots in system couldn't afford to be podded in kamikaze attacks. Not while three dozens empty ships remained in the pos field.. It was a choice between destroying those ships, or seeing them captured by Bob. We did the logical thing.
What is there to be shamed off, exactly? Not being able to repell the attack of a large bob gang, or denying them free ships?
Btw, you could ask Galavet what he think about self-destructing his ship...
Galavet is a guy, not an entire corp
Anyway, this "logical thing" is a cowardly act, nothing more nothing less.

I can remember Goons stating innumberable amount of times that BOB would be griefed until they were out of 0.0 and had left the game.
How'd it turn out you guys? Where'd you go wrong?
BoB swore that oath first, back in mid-2006, so it's a stalemate until one side or the other is completely eradicated.

Ok I can agree with that to an extent but- Goons have pulled out and gone fighting somone else, therefor in my eyes losing by default. Yes BOB pulled back but we never left the fight. Goons have.

Please, please, we need to have won. Please consider my further arguments, please. My entire life's value is predicated on being popular in an internet spaceship game. Please consider that through these various technicalities it was a victory and that we are gods and we are internet legends for my sake please.

He is RKK for goodness sake, those guys are traind to tractor in loot cans before even the pods are visable!
Given that, its pretty obvious that he would rather commit Sepukku and destroy any expensive loot on his ship than have someone else tractor it! You might get away with that where you come from, but down here, nobody touches a RKK man's lootcan. Stuff like that can get you killed.

it's pretty faulty logic people use when they claim goons are fail and that everything they accomplish is due to RA or AAA or TCF or the "coalition" (i'm assuming guys like avon are just trolling and don't actually believe what they post)
Goons have in fact been ridiculously successful in EVE so far, much more so than anyone expected of them and this whole coalition people say goons would be nothing without is pretty much entirely the creation of their leaders and diplomats, they were also its backbone while it was still active, not RA (impressive, but few in number and often suffer from apathy, lack of participation etc) or TCF (highly active for short bursts, but no stamina).
They may not have succeeded in wiping out GBC yet, but they have accomplished a lot, and they've survived everything that's ever been thrown at them, and constantly grown stronger while wiping out first LV's coalition and then many of BoB's allies..
GBC's strength was pretty severely reduced until the recent comeback, and while BoB like to make up fancy stories about how outnumbered they were, those are just that.
Doesn't really matter how many alliances are hostile to you if most of them don't show up to fight you, BoB almost always outgunned the forces arrayed against them in Querious and Delve, often to a ridiculous extent, when they didn't outright have more numbers they still had much much more battleships than the coalition gangs fighting them.
"80% of eve are here to kill us buhu" is nice propaganda and all but it never even came close to matching the reality, might as well set everyone red and go around yelling that everyone in EVE is trying to dine in NOL and that you're REPELLING THEM.
Why aint this quoted yet?
There.
Because it makes too much sense, and everyone is too busy chest-thumping and flogging their cyber-mules to work on sense right now. -- "PT, you are a complete and total jerk."

Ok in other words for the tard you are :
Game Mechanics own attackers and nerf number advantage. Game mechanics save defenders by, ie, allowing them to defend a system with 4 pilots(3 titans & 1 POS gunner) + 1 cynojammer and countless other advantages... blablabla.... BoB RuLeZ blablabla...
