It gave us the most massive capital ship battle in New Eden, the magnitude of which is beyond words to describe. Yet even the battle of FT pales in comparison to the April 1st deception surrounding it, culminating in the sweetest honey trap ever seen in EVE.

We have all been witness to the destruction of five Titans, 2 friendly, and 3 hostile, twenty two thousand hostile battleships, two hundred and eighty five hostile carriers, three hundred hostile dreadnoughts, seven hostile motherships and an innumerable amount of cruisers, frigates, newbie ships and shuttles. We have seen the largest tactical withdrawal since we vacated the North, the scale of which leads many to disbelieve its viability, resulting in the largest power vacuum in the south since New Eden began.

This Brotherhood has borne the brunt of an assault of fleets numbering in the thousands, and it seemed that the entire universe of EVE was joining the bandwagon to finally bring us to our knees. We have seen our allies overwhelmed by the onslaught and fade into the darkness. Others have risen to become greater than they have ever been. The Great Powers of the outer regions of New Eden have changed so many times with the swaying of the Pendulum that the political map is so far now from what it was when this all began.

Yet at least one thing remains the same: we are still here. This Brotherhood is stronger now than it ever was before. It has stood the test of time and near insurmountable pressure, never doubting, never fearing, even during the siege of our beloved NOL, our home away from our birthplace of BKG. Perhaps now, everyone will know that we call ourselves a Band of Brothers not only because it sounds good. We do not exist because of great wealth. We do not exist because of force of numbers. We do not exist because of inspiring leadership. The credit for our continued existence and all of our achievements goes to each and every member of our corporations: our brothers.

This, New Eden, was our gift to you. We hope you enjoyed it. Now, as before, we sit amongst the veritable pantheon of deities in EVE, the moving forces behind all things. We claim our seat at the head of the table, as a new chapter begins.

With the dispersal of the last remnants of the invading forces, we now stop the swaying of the Pendulum. We have come full circle and are back to where we began, only fiercer, sleeker, quicker and simply sexier than we were two years ago.

I would say king of spin more than anything, and best use of fubar'd game mechanics top prizewinner.

I like the references to the great battle in f-t as a major success... awesome the way the whole BoB defensive fleet was allowed in but the system was capped at 600 only allowing about 150 coalition in? most of them caps?? no support could get in to even try and save them??? So yea numbers wise bob most definitely came out on top and no way would the coalition have even thought twice about doing the same thing but to claim it as the ultimate honey trap and a glorious win.... pffff

In saying that, credit where it's due... BoB really are probably leaner and meaner than they were before and will still attract all the win*****s in eve but I would venture to suggest this 'war' is not done just yet and there are a couple more cards still to be dealt before a winner is declared. For now, yea Bob hold the high ground... congrats :)

First of all congrats to BoB, as someone else said you tanked 3/4 of Eve and lived, you proved what a dedicated alliance is capable of achieving.

I was always neutral to BoB with no specific likes or dislike, a healthy respect for their prowess on the battlefield but nothing more. When the T20 revelations came to light I could have quite happily sat back and watched them be destroyed and seen it as ironic justice.

Unfortunately for Eve the only force to arise that was capable of putting something together that had a chance of killing BoB was headed up by Goons, who are the bottom of the barrel moral trash of Eve. So all in all I'm glad BoB held out.

thouse that are new to the game then there was a player that found out that devs in BOB had abused there power and spawned BPO¦s for the alliance. and the dev that did it T20 did not get punished. Also more stuff which you can find if you search the net.

They won for a simple reason: overall and generically, they are simply better. So it's not surprising that every immature ego siding with the Coalition has a hard time digesting this. I remember all the goon chest beating on CAOD. Nevertheless, you can repeat all day long that you're winning, but you won't win just because of that.

Personally, I've never doubted about the outcome.
