1) Fine that we had in our block 8-9k of ppl, but how many were active not for their pocket. We had gangs of 250-300...where are they? But we have always 50 idiots farming around our stations. We had ****load of corps ive never seen in gang, what they do? Pay dues is not enough. Again, only some ppl made profit of the all farmers and so called industrialist we accepted to look BIG.
Man, than this war ws started, we hoped to get tons of good pvp. And what we see? :( Station blobing with large mobile and 2-3 "-" in local? :( Your alli f***ed you up. If I were you, i'd leave them with maximum adecvate ppl, made some force we'll have to count with, and made lots of good pvp to both sides=) Don't mess with carebears, m8

Edited by: Angor on 17/06/2008 11:56:57 bob will not save u so keep thinking that lol.
and yeah the northern monkeys are ignoring their impending doom as the russians pop them off one small ally at a time.
the only thing that would make me happier is if bob napped the russians temp and jumped on somekind of bandwaggon napfest to try and kill the north like they did to bob... would be pretty ironic.
The only problem im seeing with the north now is that goons will be next to pure space and they are both the same colour on the influence map and so must be removed for contrast reasons. _______________________________ [ 2007.06.07 21:07:22 ] FrankyWave > ransom me guys I am joining XElas !!! |

Actually , the thread starter is somehow right in what he/she says...only they way he/she expresses it is wrong.
SmashKill and Allies had all what was needed to win this war since the very beginning of it : we had the people/numbers (SmashKill+Atlas+FIX+-V- = almost 4.500 people versus about 5.000 Goons spread all over EVE) ; we had the Capitals (150 at any given time when needed , maybe more...which is far better than ANY Fleet Goons would have brought) ; we had the Skills (75%-80% of our Fleet members were T2-able , compared to the T1 Goon blob) ; we had the Titans same as Goons (actually Goons were 1 Titan short , , and we already talked about that for many pages here) ; we had the logistics already in place (a fantastic Jump Bridges system and extremely easy to reach ANY spot in Geminate/Kalevala Expanse) plus we had another key factor on our side : WE WERE FIGHTING FOR OUR HOMES!
IMHO our strategy for this war was flawed! Also IMHO , immediately after we killed the Goons Titan in R-6 , we should have withdrawn ASAP in our home regions with all those Capitals we bashed the ED/IRC with.Reason for this withdrawal would have been that , after losing a Titan to us , we all knew what would have been Goon's next step! Our next step should have been FDZ and M-M : 23/7 camping of FDZ Station and ALL inbound routes to FDZ! FDZ is a NPC station , a perfect place for ANY invader who seeks Geminate to setup a base of operations! All those camps would have forbidden Goons to organize their offensive. If we would have done that , there wouldn't have been ANY BWF situation or 8MG or BND , etc, etc.
If, by any God given chance , Goons would still have been able to organize in FDZ , then with all those Caps we had in Etherium Reach and Oasa , we would have closed down BWF of ANY system on the spot!
When Goons invaded BWF , we had our LAST CHANCE to push them back by locking down the system with our Cap fleet+Support! Unfortunately , our leaders didn't see that opportunity , or maybe they saw it but didn't know how to react to it , or I don't know!
A series of strategical mistakes led us to our current situation...a most unfortunate one , but....that's life , especially in EvE!

We shall keep fighting , any way we can , and when the final moment comes we shall die with honor and with our guns in our hands!
Yours truly ,

Nope...not for this.... Peoke can only be blamed for RSF failure in Delve...that's all.... ...oh...and yes , for MC disbanding aswell....that's all ...oh...and yes , for Goons losing a Titan in R-6....darn.....hope it's all!

Not a "true goon" but respect for that. You could have claimed Lag, Exploits, Hax, Dev etc etc etc. fighting the BoB Coallition did good things for goons; we learnt a lot (Also respect @ BoB, they clearly already knew these things)
Anywho; Back to shooting your station in 9-e

Lol, the north won't help. You guys basically told them to go **** themselves when they asked you not to invade the drone regions (thereby removing both you and the drone alliances from the BOB war), they don't really like you that much. Oh well.

Why should others rush to save SmashKill's space (I guess we can call them that again now that Fix and Atlas are back in Empire) when they've shown no effort to defend it themselves?
Also, it's obvious that you underestimated your enemies, and provoked your end by pure arrogance, attacking R-6, which showed your intent to take Etherium Reach. Considering that Etherium Reach is the buffer between SmashKill space and the RSF, you didn't think that this would be a provocation?
In some ways I feel sorry for you guys. Your leaders have let you down, bigtime. I guess SmashKill is the new KOS.

No one will come. But when they are getting invaded, no one will stop there either. It won't be like MC who stopped and retreated then.

As did you. You lost because your people suck and can't fit ships properly when their entire region of space depends on it.

I'll give the OP the same advice I got when Rule of Three was being removed and everyone looked the other way:
You're not important enough for people who like you to risk ****ing off the wrong people. You've got 3 choices: Fight, Flight or Surrender.
In Rule of Three's situation, we were a minor alliance who were deemed to not be contributing enough to the Bob war. Even though all our allies liked us, the economic and military power of MH was more important.
In SmashKill's situation, you guys went out of your way to avoid any contribution to the Bob war. In fact, you attacked other small alliances in the area which would have liked to fight against Bob. Meanwhile, the open hostility to Goons and RA was growing. I remeber a thread just after QY6 became a stalemate which said that you guys would be next after Goons gave up on Delve. Surely you must have known this was comming.
So NO - Bob won't save you. NO - The North won't save you. Both Bob and the North may be concerned about RA/Goons as a powerblock, but not concerned enough to openly join your side to oppose them. That would imply that the three powerblocks would react to your plight, when in reality they have their own agendas that don't require SmashKill presence.
My advice to you is to have Peoke keep evemailing all the Russian Diplomats/CEO's. The headache they will all get from trying to decode the meaning of a Peoke Mail that has been run through a translator might just get them to call off the attack.

My god, do you really believe our fleets consist almost entirely of t1 fit ships? I know it's been a catchphrase all these years but I didn't think anyone actually believed that.
We learned a lesson fighting BoB, and our fleet compositions reflect that.
