I know I'm going to get get flamed here, but I really don't care because there is a major issue that needs to be brought to light so CCP can start acting on insane inconsistancies and start bringing a part of balance to the eve universe we so much love and hate and yes you know what I mean. Anyone who knows anything about stealth ships knows first and formost that a ship of stealth should have a decisive advantage over any other ship it engages, including larger ships. A manticore is a T2 ship and therefore, because it is T2, should have a marked advantage of a T1 ship like a drake. If a manticore decloaks any T1 ship it encounters should be given a two minute penalty during which it cannot return fire, engage any defensive systems, or flee. Anyone who watches start trek knows that the sight of a klingon ship decloaking strikes fear into the heart of opponents. I know this is not star trek but hell the same should hold true if a manticore decloaks the opponent shoul dbe stunned into indecusssion or maybe given a saving throw to see if they can flee! but not fire back!

Curious....
Still there is that one variable, the loose nut behind the wheel.
Wait a minute did he actualy say 'a saving throw'?!

I support this thread and/or the ops opinions, for the sole reason that hes a ******.
I'm highly biased about most things, but it has nothing to do with the overall view of my corp or alliance |

If a single Manticore could own a Drake, there would be 0 reason to fly anything but a Manticore, they are devastating in groups (imagine a group using bombs) and they can pop a frigate or destroyer just like that, they inturn pay for this ability by just being a frigate itself, so it cant tank a fly and has to rely on stealth and a bit of EWar to stay live.
EVE != Star Trek EVE != Realism
Also, if I manage to fire back on a Manticore, the Manticore pilot did something horribly horribly wrong (I fly a Rokh) ------------------------ Ore Depletion Calculator It's life Jim, but not as we know it |

I knew no one would agree with me but i'm sure the people who are crying foul are drake pilots and not manticore pilos, who have every reason to feel slighted by CCP who lured us to believe that manticores would own the skies and turned out to be the flying trash cans of the galaxy. Manticore is T2, drake is T1, nuff said. Any mantiocre that decloaks on a T1 ship should be given a 2-3 minute advantage where the opponent is held immobile. like time stop or something.

So a T2 Shuttle should own a T1 Titan? Wow....your logic is either very unique or extremely flawed... ------------------------ Ore Depletion Calculator It's life Jim, but not as we know it |
