As of this minute my shares in eBank have been transferred to Hexxx. eBank was informed of my intent to resign and any funds I had deposited in eBank have been withdrawn.
I will answer any questions where the answer does not violate confidentiality. However I will refuse to answer any post that I consider to be a troll or flame.

Shame, always think boards should have people who speak their minds no matter the consequences.
p.s. How many toons are you posting with now on these forums?

This always sounds like a good idea but it only works in theory. Those individuals who speak up eventually find themselves marginalized or ostracized. The truth is, no matter how unwise, the messenger often does get shot. That being said, yes my unique place on the board (being the "free speaker") is part of my reasons for resigning. It is hard to describe the personal dilemma of having to face an unwelcome audience of what needs to be said. I find that I do not have the where withal to shoulder such responsibility (and hostility) time again and again. For this reason and others, I can longer perform the duties with which the public entrusts me. To stay is to become a parasite on the system I helped to create and only creates risks that are, for personal reasons, unwise. Going forward I expect my life to become more stress free when I no longer have to worry about the proper handling and management of funds belonging to so many people. Originally by: cosmoray p.s. For reasons specified here I can not go into any details of my own current situation in regards to these forums. It should be easy to deduce. However, I only have two toons of any reknown and I don't play alt games. I never accidently, or intentionally, blur the lines between who I am. (I'm sure if you search you'll find that I've rarely ever posted with this toon or, in fact, this account. Those times I did it was specifically necessary under the circumstances.)

I seem to recall this is the second time I've seen this post. Only last time there was a lot more feigned yet overly open disgust put forth.
Can we go for a threesome and try this again in a few more months?

If anyone was curious, this is a fine example of the kind of post, question, or statement that I will be ignoring. So kind of Shadarle applying his limitless intellect to finding the perfect example. Thank you.

No, I'll answer. It was all about "ends justifying the means" and "means justifying the ends". In my opinion "means justifying" is all about process and policy so that a group can work together as a team. Helping each other, supporting each other, and making sure that risk is properly managed... together. The alternative is something I find I can not be a part of in good conscience and not my place, so to speak. But I think you want me to violate a trust and drop a drama bomb. While I have some very grave concerns over many things I have to be honest with you those things are being handled and addressed. I have some, if small, confidence that eBank may be better going forward. If this proves to be so, then my leaving serves a purpose for the betterment of all. If not, not my problem any more.

I must say that this is the most un-eve thread I've ever read. No drama bomb, chat logs, kms, whines, rants or any decent forum entertainment.
I can only wish for a jabbering rant.

I dont want you to violate your trust, I just am stating the burning question. I respect you because you respect that trust. I am just stating what many i am sure are wondering. What was the "topic" that the loggerheads came over, intrest rates, bonds, color of the forums, if ricdic should get free exotic dancers, etc etc.

I'm sorry to hear you're leaving. I may have thought you a tad blunt at times but teams need a measure of that and EBANK shall be the poorer with you gone.
I wasn't aware things were getting so contentious over at EBANK. I think we can all agree that we don't want drama bombs but I would like to know what issue caused this much grief.
As far as the ban goes, we've all been there. Somehow I never run afoul of the moderators over at SHC; it's just here that I manage to "break the rules"...ya, watch me get warned again for "discussing moderation," like the time I pointed out a moderator's grammatical error, apparently that's a bannable offense....

Lets be fair. There's always going to be drama when you put over 13 people on a forum together. EBank is not any different in that respect.
EBank is by no means bad when it comes to drama. It rarely happens. And when it does, it's likely due to miscommunication or someone wanting some love (The basis for these assumptions are statistically insignificant, mind you. There has really been little drama in EBank)

Well it's a shame to see anyone leave the e-bank team becuase it seems to me that it really has been a team effort to get it where it is today.
From a purely capitalist point of view, what I want to know is: Is there cause for me to worry about funds in my ebank account/bonds or was this more a difference of opinion/philosophy? --------------------------------------

Without doubt. Shar was definitely our primary devil's advocate in any decision making that happened. Shar's insight in these matters, no matter how much friction he caused, will be missed.

EBANK's Board Discussions make MD look like a kindergarten playground in terms of drama and depth and breadth of discussion. Getting heated is an obvious side-effect, but largely it's self-policing.

If you trust the people who's running EBank, then there is nothing to worry about. Nothing has changed really(Which can be both good and bad)

Horizontal speaks the truth. There is plenty of drama internally at just about any interval. Everyone has their views and their ideas and the likes. I think the key reason is that we all have a vested interest in EBANK's success and we have all put a lot of our time and effort into the corporation therefore it's not unrealistic that we are all extremely passionate about the operation.
It really is terrible to lose Shar as he has been with us from the start. With all conflicts that arise in EBANK a resolution generally follows shortly after.
I can say however that there is no reason for customers to be concerned, their funds are not in any form of jeopardy. If this were the case I believe it would have been mentioned by Shar. The biggest concern customers should have is that we are losing an integral member of the team

Unless you read a different forum than I do, there is rarely drama. I can count the amount of incidents, that caused drama, on 1 hand.

You mean there are more instances where Shar bows to puke in front of a cheering crowd? I admit I've only seen 2 of them so far but I'm always aching for more.
If I remember well, we did get a report about foul language seeing extensive use by the board members. At that time we didn't know if it was accurate or not. I definitely need to get myself a subscription to Ebank's Board Discussions. I just hope I didn't miss the best parts already. Sad to see you go Shar, really; look at the bright side though, no strings attached from now on

Well I told Ric to stay out of my thread as I did not appreciate his involvement here. Now I'm in something of a quandary; I was asked to refrain from any real disclosure so as to give eBank time to reinforce their liquidity however Ricdic's statement forces me to have to say I am not as sanguine about matters as he states them. So, I have to decide on breaking my word and disclosing in specific the reason(s) why I left or do I let my silence be taken as proof of facts that I do not believe anymore. In the matter of worry, I don't worry anymore. My money is not in eBank anymore.
