I am not going to glorify the name like mission raiding lol its theft.period.some of us who depend on our mission loot and salvage for the bulk of our earnings are getting sick of thieves salvaging our wrecks in mission.The only option we have is to shoot our own wrecks to discourage the thieving ,and so they lose and we lose.real smart thinking CCP.but since its happening more often these days CCP should make scanning missions take much more time to ensure no ones coming back to salvage their own wrecks.were tired of all thats been good being nerfed and the bad is left alone.Ive lost 2 friends to age of conan due to this(it was the straw that broke their back).If mission runners move to other areas for earning ISK or just leave EVE,The economy WILL be upset.We spend a long time and money to skill up and lvl our agents to have the benefit of lvl 4 missions,why does CCP alow a noob with minimal skills to enter lvl 4 missions even while lvl 4 ratts are still present.tsk tsk

2. Salvaging isn't stealing.
3. You have plenty of counters – use them.
4. Ninja salvaging is the about the only balancing factor to the easy money of missions, and should stay for that reason alone.

Shooting NPC:s is murder. You can't glorify it with names like mission running. Compared to that, stealing your wrecks is a minor crime. Go turn yourself in to the police right now. Bloody murderer.
Shooting NPC:s should cause global flagging, so that people can shoot you.

i have a lot of respect for ninja salvagers, its what i had always expected to come of salvaging. you want to avoid it? be quicker.
i have a speed fit cormy in each system that i would get a mission in, takes less than 2 minutes to get to the station switch ships and get back.

Personally I like to go to agents in areas not so populated and kill me 2 birds with one torp by dealing with less lag and smaller chances of mission scanners.

WHAT IS EVE COMING TO?
I mean seriously guys, EVE is losing its touch. People are doing things to inconvenience other players? wth? This is totally against EVE's design philosophy. EVE has always been a game about being able to do whatever you want without other players being able to intervene. CCP needs to get on this right away.

whatever did those poor mission runners ever do for isk before salvage was introduced, i bet they could barely afford ammo.
But seriously, I would like to know the distribution of character ages compared to views on salvaging. Is this a thing that only provokes outrage from players that started after salvage was introduced or is it independent of character age?

Just to remind you that there are such things in EvE as locater agents.
Locater agents are grand, I have a lvl4 locater agent if the OP would like to use his services I will be willing to oblige for a modest 1mil isk fee.

there is an easy way to prevent this. fit a salvager/tractor on your level 4 BS and salvage as you go.
if your skills aren't good enough to lose two weapons, then don't whine when people take advantage of that.

OP might be an alt, or an troll. If not, he just made us aware that we need to:
use locator agent on him,
scan him and warp in on him during missions in gangs of pvpsetup ships,
both salvage and take the stuff in his can
take/break mission objectives
bump him into rats optimals
whatever else to maximize his enjoyment from missioning.

Ninja salvaging is a perfectly valid profession in the world of Eve. Now, it may need some balancing so as to make it less like child's play and more like real work, but it's still a perfectly valid way to play.
