Sure, but you must have had things you said haunt you, too. Why should he get special treatment? It's just the way it is with the booze.
He was also a representative in a pretty public situation, so he should have exercised more caution. I've made a drunken goof of myself in game and on the forums a few times, but i'm just some random guy who only represents himself. I alone bear the weight of anything i say or do. Mittani, however, made EVE players and CCP look bad.
Like i've already said, though. Him being removed from the CSM and getting a 30 day ban is enough. This thread is just inane now. If people really care about this so much, wait for him in Jita. I know i'll be there. |

I just finished reading every post in this thread and I must say it was well worth it. Not saying that it is the best way to judge a game but you can get a sense of the 'life' of a game by its forums and EVE is very healthy, alive and diverse.
The best post though was that one on page... I can't remember exactly, it was somewhere in the 100's . It was the post that said whatever else one might say about certain players famous or infamous they have left an indelible mark on the game and that is more than most of us will do. Serenity Steele, SirMolle, Mittani, Serena Repose will all be remembered long after Eve Online goes FTP and no one plays anymore.
So hats off to the memorable players who contributed in one way or another to this awesome game. |

I think you forgot Chribba. I've only been playing for a short while and I have already heard of him. I have heard of Mitt and Serene too but none of those other famous players |
