This is an early bug I'd like to get noticed and squashed ASAP.
Corporate standigns are FUBAR and are not being displayed. Friendly corps are showing up as enemy, and show info does not show corp status only sec. rating.

Went to a belt to smack some rats. They were out of range, so I removed my multi-frequency crystals. (all I had on me) I kill the rats, and when the guns stop firing, the Auto-reload put the crystals back on for me.
I would imagine that auto-reload should not apply to lasers. I'll see what it does if I have crystals of different types in cargo.

I noticed the item regarding criminal flagging and that when they are flagged we can fire on them without fear of police or sentry guns.
Does this apply to all security spaces? doesn't that pretty much mean that anyone can fire on anyone at anytime? (thinking ore theifs are finally going to get what's coming to them ) ____________________________________

I don¦t know if the server will do it, but the client displays that I have 0.0 in standings towards the corp that owns the station but in reality I have 8.8 or alike. So they threaten to take 5% of the minerals instead of the 0% the bastards! So I dare not to refine at the moment.
UPDATE: Relog seems to have fixed this... weird, since I had already tried that. But second time¦s a charm. |

Not that I complain: I found 2 spawns so far (0.0 with bistot) both with Battleships: 1x1.250.000 Scorpion and 5x40k Condors... next spawn is 1x2M Apocalypse, 2x225k Mallers and 2x40k Punisher: very very nice, seems appropriate for a system with bistot.

Couple of things.
Sound: I was playing just before the patch, all was fine. Patch comes, I install it, go back to play, and quite a few of the sounds seem to be screwed up. Stargates, weapons, warping to name a few are different to what they were. The sound is tinny, and of poor quality.
I rebooted, checked my sound with another game, etc and its only Eve which has this odd effect. Most of the other ingame sounds are fine as well....
Tracking: I dont know if this is what you intended..... I fired 400 AM L at a 3k rat at various distances, i didnt hit with a single shot. Fair enough, so I went and picked up my Thorax, and the same thing happens. I was only able to hit when it was completely stationary, the moment it started moving not 1 single shot out of around 200 hit.
If you can no longer hit a frig with anything but small weapons then in my books something is majorly screwed.

Cap relay, in the description it says -10% shield boost 20% cap recharge, but when you fit it on the ship it doesn't penalize the shield.

#1 In the station 'Guests' tab, all the character names appear as lower case. Not critical, but annoying.
#2 The Interceptor bonus descriptions do not match the changes the patchnotes.

Wrong, it penalizes the shield booster. I've tried it multiple times because I couldn't believe what I saw.

shield-boost means your shieldbooster actually recharges less amount of shields per activation.. check it out! -----------------------------------------------

Two things right off:
The Bug Report option is missing from the petition list.
I found that becau8se in the process of trying to report a bug well....
My Punisher's top speed has been halved.
With a Cold-Gas Arcjet (1mn AB) and Monopropellant I Hydrazine Boosters(1mn MWD) with a named Overdrive Injector (can't remember the name right now and I'm stuck entering space) I used to have a top speed of 2200m/s roughly.
Right now that is halved.

Auto-reloading seems to work as expected.
Apart from one small glitch:
I tried to let one gun empty that I had no spare ammo for. I correctly got a message that it was so. However when I tried to manually put in ammo that I had in cargo hold it did not seem to "see" it. I had two different ammos in hold and it only saw one of them.

Trade windows are causing some problems, the accept button doesnt always work and then the items disappear if the trade is cancelled. So far I've lost an Abalest heavy launcher and 2 corp mates have lost large amounts of minerals.

This is a biggie,,,
We can no longer use cruise missles on frigs, cool, no biggie, knew it was coming.
The problem is that light missles are still sitting at 1000km/s. I thought the base speed was supposed to be 3000?
If they do stay at 1000 please explain to me how they r suppose to be effective? I mean cmon, that speed was and still is a joke. I hope its just a typo and they really r doing 3000kms.

I really really dislike the Stop button - it's so out-of-place.
Kinda like finding a goldfish in your beer when you specifically ordered vodka.
Anyway, I think releasing the patch onto an unreliable server was always going to be a bad idea. Releasing a very buggy patch with missing features was even worse 
Still, I can understand the pressures you were under to release something so I hope all the impatients little sods like Eve for the next few days 
I'm sure the Dev's are working their Icelandic bottoms off to fix the bugs.
Let's remain calm people.

I spend weeks to train the skills for my Punisher to use wto MWD's on it. The speed is now halved and all my skill training is wothless because the cap's running low very fast.
This is crap and as far as i know unannounced (Wight doubling of the Punisher). I consider it atherefore as a Bug - and if CCP insists on this changes i want the invested skill points back for other now more neccessary skills.

i'm not usually one to complain about patches right after their deployment, but this is kinda critical: the market does not work for me, if i want to browse the market tree or sell something, the "market loading" window freezes at 95.1 and i can't do -anything- apart from quitting the game.
if i search for an item it finds it, but then if i choose the item and query it's supply locations, the window loads and re-loads and so on, again only quitting solves the case.
i've tried right-clicking both windows and closing them, they reopen. i've tried clearing the cache, no avail.

Missile speeds for player missiles has not changed that I have seen. Description still has the old speeds and flight times. They seem to work just fine for NPCs though!
Damage for torpedos and FOFs do not seem to have been updated either. Light FOFs still do 40 damage base, torpedos still say 450 damage base.
No new skills have been added that I have seen.

So far so good, haven't encountered any problems yet. Had no problem downloading patch, logging in.
Mission NPC pirate bountys seem to have skyrocketed, not sure if this was intentional or not, i.e. Guristas Inferno now 225k from 85k. "If you could kick the person in the pants responsible for most of your trouble, you wouldn't sit for a month." T.R. |

Serious Problem: Corp members no longer have a default +10 standing with their own corporation (i.e., all members of my corporation are now at 0 standing) which means that they cannot access station stuff in 0.0. This is obviously very bad. Can you please reinstate the default +10 standing for corp members?
The only people who can update corp standings are Directors, which is a serious problem if nobody with Director standing is on (and I'm not about to give tons of people who don't need it that status just for this bug).

Market is not working. I get no categories when i select browse. When i search for an item the "getting quotes" screen sits there forever.
Escrow comes up and sits there, window will not go away anymore.
Also had 2 "system errors" from eve. Eve window pops-up with error and "ok" button. 4 big errors in 20 minutes. None in the 10 days before that.
I hope you can fix all these bugs, otherwise a rollback would be in order. It is not playable at the moment. Adding the days that everything is not playable to our accounts would be good bussiness practice.

No, it's like the two post say.
The hardware upgrades have also been detailed in previous devblogs, and this last extension was the last. It included new database servers and new nodes. We removed the new nodes because of the problems, and we won't add them for some time since we need to be able to debug with identical hw setups.

some of the rats drop Small Energy Neutralizer I's with the Tech II mark on the top left of the icon.... are they suppossed to be Tech I or II?
plus I know the new combat system is suppossed to make hitting smaller ships harder.... but why on earth can't I hit a Guristas Mortifier (moa) with my 4 Dual 425mm's? I even got the thing WEBBED for *****s sake. I should have atleast had 1 hit out of the 300 rounds I fired at the guy

Known issues are missing market items, various standings display bugs, threat indication display reversed, and node deaths (resulting in stuck cases, lag on these nodes and CTD's)."
This includes the issues : - Missile modules (Cruise, dmg mod) and skills missing from market - Rails - Standing gain too much when pirate hunting (display bug, correct standing is on server) - Trade window

Just completing the 'A Case of Kidnapping' mission.
My large lasers had a few problems with the frigates as they got closer (Not unexpected) so I launched my 6 heavy drones. Unfortunately only 2 of them appeared on screen, and on my drones list.
Finally killed all the frigates and collected cargo, but there was no VIP.
I also retested launching the 2 drones I had recovered, and they also vanished.
I relogged, and returned to the mission point. All my drones and 3 cans were then present. Luckily one of the cans had the VIP and it allowed me to scoop the drones to my drone bay
This could just have been a lag issue, but it's not something I've ever encountered before ----------------------------------------------- IÆm not schizophrenic... ThatÆs my alt

We at ATUK are experiencing major problems getting BS's to hit each other at optimal range and stationary, when ships are moving it is even worse. It is understandable to make it hard for a BS to hit a frig or a cruiser, but atm we are unable to hit each other at all. A few times yes. This is even with tracking mods . Our skills are maxed out in the weopon type each of our members prefer, but BS Vs. BS is very hard to get hit's. We would like to know if you are aware of the problem, or if it is something you intended  Other than that the patch seems ok and no other problems have been experienced. ===============================================

I sugesest everyone calm down take a day off, go outside, look at the sun for a few minutes and then take a nap. Patch day = Bug day, we all know that yet most seem to never remember that. The same people screaming patch one day are then screaming take it back the next. Just be thankful for the good things that have happened. I for one am happy that caldari ships can finaly hunt rats with missiles and turn a proffit.

Oveur, the problem of corp standings to corp members is not a "display bug" and it is critical. There are other threads about this as well. In addition, there's apparently a limit of 200 poeple with whom your corp can set standings -- which will cripple my corporation. Can you acknowledge this? Certainly this was not intended?
What about the market being completely broken (not displaying anything and getting stuck at 95.1%)? Are you aware of this?
What about missle launchers not autorepeating?
I can have patience here, but at least some acknowledgement that you are aware of these things would help me put my mind at ease. :)

Just be thankful for the good things that have happened. I for one am happy that caldari ships can finaly hunt rats with missiles and turn a proffit.
This thread is for critical response so the Devs can fix the bugs in the patch. So your post, while I'm sure well intentioned, is not appropriate here. The point of this thread is to make the Devs aware of bugs (not to complain about the patch, I agree with you there) but if people went outside and didn't play, then the problems wouldn't get fixed, would they?
Stop the "everyone calm down" posts. I'm perfectly calm, just trying to give some feedback on things that are causing problems ATM.

so the missile launchers have changed, i'm ok with that. but what about the missiles? light missiles still show the old speed and flighttime, same with the other missiles. was that intended?
Despite the fact that i'm stuck right now, the market and escrow isn't working at all, i think this is a great patch

Edit: Have cleared cache, but not til after my first successful download of patch and login, where the game froze in station and I tried relogging only to see blackscreen. Problem started after the freeze (in Ravarin) and i tried logging on with my other account.

Dunno if this is known but when trying to build 2 bestowers from a 5 run BPC i could only enter 1 or 5 for the number of production runs when entering 2 the automatically went to 5. Dunno if its the same for BPOs.

Missiles fired from a Raven with caldari BS skill lvl3 are only going 1k/s, which is less than the 3k/s base they should have now (unless it was changed) and the Raven's 5% missile velocity bonus isn't working.

Errors:
2 clients running at the same time doesnt work, this didnt work for me but now doesnt work for my whole corp.
f.o.f. missles (any) are not destroyed by smartbombs.
Drones go agressive on people for no reason at all.
1400's cannot even hit any targets at OPTIMAL range, i said this before the patch allready and its great to see that CCP listened.
MWD increases your signature radius, and from the practice i was hit more than normally. So when i run to the gate with mwd i get shot twice as much as before.
If i MWD and shoot, i cannot hit a SINGLE thing. If anyone ever counterstriked you know that running and shooting is easier than shooting a running object.
Dual mwd'ing ships are DOOMED, while some of us used these setups for tactics in battle, it seems now that CCP wants us to sit still and shoot and hope we do enough damage before the other one did. Game SLOWED DOWN.
NPC battleships are dampned by 6 dampners and 4 multi's (angels) and they still fired, wtf?
Siege launchers stats are changed, but where are the minilaunchers? ALL SETUPS for battleships are affected by this and since some people are not carebears like papa some people have to make 40 freaking jumps for new modules IF they were out.
BUT WORST OF ALL!!!
Colour brackets, friendly or hostile are the same.
People in my own alliance show up as yellow, and its not more that reasonable to DEMAND that any losses due to friendly fire will be refunded.
People who are neutral are neutral, people in corp show corp colour.
Rest not checked.

The tracking now is dead. I cannot hit anything with large guns.
At 24km, I can not hit an orbiting Moa. I hit at least 10 times better far out in falloff range than at 80% of optimal range. Tracking needs to be undone, totally reworked or something, it is not working.
Also, npc bounties are silly, I'll be a billionaire in a week at this rate. (although I'm using medium and small guns atm, only thing that hits anything.

Hmm...same here for the Sensor Upgrades. 'tisn't there anymore.
And...the tracking system is REALLY wierd now, I'm having trouble landing hits with my 250mm Proto's at even +7-10km optimal range. So now, instead of shooting Blood Arch Reavers at 27.2km and landing hits, I'm shooting from 40km away and only getting 40-60 damage a hit. But I'm hitting better from far out ranges than just last night.
Although this may be intentional, it'd be nice to get a nice "dumbed down" version of that Dev Blog on accuracy, as I for one, have no idea what that Blog was talking about.

The stats on Assault Launchers seem to be a bit messed up. The SV-2000 has a lower Rate of Fire than the Malkuth & Limos. Also the description could do with changing on these since they are no longer frigate weapons. Ravelin Eb

I'm seein'g too many bugs and too many 'calm down, everyone knows patch day is bug day' messages.
1) A patch fixes issues, it shouldnt break other things, thats just shoddy quality control 2) I'm a newbie, and no, i DONT know patch day is bug day, because in any other bloody game i've ever played, it ISNT bug day 3) Next time i see 'long skill training' in a news post, i'll make sure i KEEP it on long skill training even AFTER the patch and AFTER i've been playing the patched version, because otherwise i end up in my situation now: no skill training, and an endless 'tuning in subspace frequency' report after I went into a stargate and i never came out again...

Sensor Upgrades has been renamed Electronics Upgrades and moved to Electronics for those who are wondering.
I have a bug that others have alluded to - after 1-2 mins playing my sound suddenly all doubles in playback speed. The result is hilarious at first (my ship computer has been replaced by a munchkin on helium!) but it also affects the *entire* computer - all sounds played by anything else also are doubled in speed until I reboot the computer.
Soundcard is an on-board AC97 thing and I have a 2nd sound device, Logitech USB headset if that info helps at all.

Light Missile speeds appear to be unchanged leaving them with a range of approx 20K, which sucks when trying to use the Kestrel's 46k lock range. Damage increase is good though :) Nul.

NPC factions that i and my corp have a high standing with (8.1 & 9.0) appear as hostile, their sentry guns & faction ships come up as a dark yellow colour instead of a light blue.

Oveur can u please tell me why my rails don't work properly? i was informed that the range would be reduced but the damage inflicted would be increased but i have found that i'm only getting 100 - 180 with 2 damage mods on wot gives? i'm so disappointed i really use to enjoy this game and now for the first time i'm considering leaving i was looking forward to the shiva patch but if i have weapons that r not gonna work properly wot's the use mate?? i'm only trained up on gall bs's all that effort for virtually nothing!!! This is just great. Ive lost two corporation members to this constant system downtime crap. If Im paying a monthly subscription to a game i want the damn thing to work for crying outloud. It would be ok if this was the first time, but this has been going on for two friggin months now, this huge downtime and messed up sever stuff. Now they wont fix stuck players until TOMARROW?!
Your going to be loosing alot of player soon CCP if you dont get your acts together.

WTB: An adequately tested patch.
This is quite obscene, Devs. I don't mind the odd bug or two in a patch but this is very very poor.
You have a reasonably decent testing process set up but, from some of the comments made in Patch Review by certain BH's, you are being very inflexible when players are reporting bugs via the forums which, I assume, is where most of the bugs are reported because people actually like to share their experiences (i.e prove the bug can be reproduced).
It would be nice if you could post and uptodate list of what is actually IN the patch. This will clear up a lot of confusion and help us look for things that are broken and not missing.

you see, while docked, the people on the guests list are all in lowercase letters, no matter what their case was originally.
for example, my name is actually "Ishkur" but when i'm docked, it is "ishkur."

I now have members of my corporation who cannot dock at our stations, and cannot refit their ships. Nice work.
Oveur (or anyone else) has yet to even acknowledge that they've read this problem.
All corp members are now at 0.0 standing with their own corp, AND, to make matters worse, I cannot increase their standings because of this:
You have already set the maximum number of standings allowable (200). Please delete some obsolete standings and try again.

What can I say? Installed patch...fine ...logged in ...fine . Had a mess about with new features and very impressed .Then we are informed of a re boot. Fair enough I think as there are bound to be problems. I sit and wait patiently for the time to relog to come and get on no problem. I undock and approach another station and Eve freezes on me.I then try to relog and cant get back on. I select character and it just goes to the dreaded black screen. I have tried multiple times to get back in with the same results. It says there are over 6000 users online and in the news section not to petition. What is going on guys? Im not one for complaining as a rule but this is getting a bit much..I mean im paying for this! It has also taken me half an hour to get far enough in the forums to manage to post this. An unhappy Eve player.

Lost items in trade window.
Myself and corp mate just lost a combined 12million in items using the trade window. Items just vanished after trade was canelled.
Market wont open, skills window wont open, character info wont open, couple of CTDs, corp hangers wont open etc.
Would petition the lost items but that doesnt work either. Channel list not showing channels either.
Logged and spent 20minutes posting this instead.

Missing rats? Security status change?
In trying to test out the new NPCs I decided to go to an old hunting ground of mine. The system is called Reyi and my first surprise is that it is now a 0.3 system. I thought it used to be 0.4.
The real issue though is "where are the rats"? I used to spend a couple of hours in Reyi going from belt to belt (there's only five belts). Occasionally I'd find an empty belt but most of the time there were rats waiting for me. I made about 400k an hour.
Today I found three rats in the first belt. Then I spent the next half an hour jumping form belt to belt. I never saw another rat. I even sat in one belt for ten minutes chatting to my corp mates and still no rats appeared.
So:Has Reyi changed security level and more importantly why are rats spawning so slowly? Oh and before all you miners rush to a 0.3 system that has no rats I can tell you not to bother. There are a few jaspet pebbles but nothing much else. If there had been I'd have cleared it out before posting here  -- (Battle hardened miner)

Why the hell are my 1400s doing such horrible damage with a 9.7 modifier? Well-aimed for 170 damage? Excellent for 250? Damage sucks at most ranges with all ammo types.

As always, Tech Level 2 additions are not visible from the market, they come through Research agents. First batch added roughly a week ago.
When will the missiles have their new speed and flight time? At least the info on them gives out the old attributes.
(For examples I equipped a Kestrel with four roket launchers (nice rocket spam ship with right timing one rocket launched about every 0.7 seconds and this only with missile launcher 3 and caldari frigats 3) launchers worked as told by TomB, though rockets seem to be mostly the same as before speedwise.)

Apart from the missing missile skills and modules, I think the patch is quite nice. I don't mind that I can't hit frigates with CMs anymore, turret user can't hit them either. I just think that there's something wrong with the 1400s as I and my buddy were hunting 1.5m sanshas, my buddy shelled mainly vacuum. The npc battleship was at around 30 kilometres, my buddy using emp ammo with maximal skilled optimal range. If he scored hits, they're weren't as strong as we were used to hit, he hardly reached the usual standart 350s. Is this because of the tracking changes or because the npc battleship was tanking with resistances? He also had big problems hitting cruisers, but then again we liked that as cruisers generally can play vital roles in pvp now. They probably won't be instant-shot anymore, as long as they're on the move. Anyway, my buddy's going to fit 1200s with a tracking computer or 800s now. Better for npc hunting, better for pvp. By the way, we also had that trade bug, loosing 8 Tachyons. Needs fixing urgently.

Hi there DEVs...
Why when I command my BS to go to a certain point in an Asteroid Belt at 110m/s max speed ... shakes all scenary and ship like if it was warping and stays like even during the warp, and docking?
I really hope that you tested this patch before adding it... because its no fun be surrounded by npcs and see a CTD (thing that I didnt see it for ages)...
Please, let me know if I'll need to raise two petitions to report this two new features. Thanks

I'm using a 200mm scout autocannon on a Claw. Sitting still at 500m (optimal range), I'm doing 11 damage. I've shot cruisers, frigates, battleships....11 damage. I used to do an average of 30. I've tried different ammo but not different guns. I know this can't be a "balance" issue, because my damage mods and rate of fire are the same and the ammo listed is the same. It's not because of falloff or accuracy or anything. Literally, my damage is now a 3rd of what it used to be.
Please tell me this is a fix coming in on Wednesday. Minmatar ships are supposed to be "damage first" and are doing horrible against any other interceptor (check out crusaders with 4 pulse lasers doing 100 damage), and this cut of damage by 1/3rd is just ridiculous....
Also counterbalance weapon mounts only affect damage on projectile weapons, not rate of fire.

I am not sure how you have reworked the accuracy formula but you have screwed it up so bad that it is pathetic. Tempest with 4 1400mm and 2 720mm, mid slot tracking computer II, and sitting still I am missing 15 out of 30 shots, light hits for 8 shots, and hitting for over 90 on the other 7 shots ???? WTF. The range was 25-50km and the target was a anchored Giant Secure. I have above average gunnery skills so I expect to be able to do damage when I shoot at something.

The weight of the Punisher has doubled(?) (causing it to only do 860m/s with mwd). I have tried to read throuh list of chages but havn't seen this mentioned anywhere.
And one Pre patch feature that's removed :( When showing info on a player it also displayed corp standing. Very useful when in insecure space, and clicking on standings/relationships takes long time if you have a couple of players in local that you need to check out why they are fast.
Is this part of a plan to get us to memorise the names of all characters? ;)

Hi Devs, here's two things that'll make this patch better;
1) Remove npcs at gates 2) Lower the insane bounties
No1. because npcs at gates are pointless, they dont scramble so they dont really effect travel (every decent pilot in 0.0 has instajumps). They dont serve any purpose but the hinder pvp. If someone wants to set up a camp they can easily kill them, but if there's going to be a battle there, the last thing either side wants is a 2mil bship and his flies spawning. Pointless really.
No2. because NPCs arent smarter or stronger now, they are still weak and stupid, and they now give out 4x their own bounties. If this stays like this everyone will have a billion-gazillion isk, and every ship bpo in the game. you can make a hundred million isk in a few hours killing these brand new morons that have worse dmg output than their pre-patch cousins. Either make NPCs much stronger, or nerf these bounties. -

Heres my full oppinion of this patch. Lets start with the good then the bad. Good: The changes to missiles and damage along with tracking are very good decisions. They were needed and balance hte game out. Also the changes to the bonus on ships was also good. I also like the new speed of missiles and damages of turrets once it gets fixed.
The bad: The standing bug where everyone appears hostile. The way gate guns arnt working is causing alot of problems. The fact that some launchers are missing along with skills and the ballistics module. The rats at the gates are stupid and useless they also gimp frig pilots trying to sit at gates. The black op frigs are missing along with cloaking and the damage on missiles along with their speeds arnt fixed. The fact that MWDs arnt working right is also bad. The lag is back and blackholing is everywhere.

That disgusting red square that flashes around ships that attack is .. well, UGLY.
Please change it to something more in line with the beautiful graphics of Eve.
Oh, and I know someone that matters said the STOP button will get some work, but I'd like to beg for an expedite on this. The UI looks futuristic except for that stop sign thing, a design that's been around since the 1920's.
The warp effect is still jumpy and ugly, since its mysterious appearance a couple of patches ago.
The annoying and unplayable bug with ship models, asteroids, etc. etc. stacking all over your ship is still there.. for god sakes fix that disgusting graphic bug.
I'm personally sad to see my cruise missiles go bye-bye from my interceptor but I suppose it makes sense.. We were killing spawns of infernos and nullifiers with a couple of interceptors in short order.. kind of like someone in a little dinghy throwing bombs at an aircraft carrier and sinking it after a few mins.
Good work overall, imho.

This is by far the worst change ever. At first I thought the cruisers were new cruisers with bounties of 250k, so I took on a spawn of those and a 1.75M battleship. I ate though them so fast in my megathron that I filed an EXPLOIT Petition, yes, thats right, I actually thought that the Cruiser spawn bounties were a bug, and I filed an exploit because I didnt want to be banned because I was fighting the rats.
I later find out that this is supposed to be a change. My god man, this is terrible, I made 6.5M in under an hour, thats WAAAAAY more than what I make than mining Bistot by myself. With this change all I need is a lot of ammo and I go to town, any good meta items I can sell is gravy on top, with bistot mining I need to use either two ships (a miner and a field clearer) or a hybrid, and a hauling ship. It takes time to mine all the ore, then transport it and return to mine again. Clearly fighting these NPC's is the winner.
If CCP wants to increase bounties, they need to do it in a reasonable way, slight increases, and new more difficult cruisers and such.
I'm shocked at these changes and I really hope that the system is reverted back to the old one with the addition of TOUGHER Cruisers with higher bounties, not the same easy ones with HUGE bounties.
I really think the old system was much better, the risk vs reward with the bounties was more than fair, if this change is a result of the fix to chain exploiting (not legitimate chaining, but the exploit that came out of it), then I guess the increase in bounty makes sense on one level, but what you will end up having is people just traveling from system to system raking up millions in very little time. Instead, what you should do is make those "NPC Logs" useful, make them "instance missions", they will tell you to a location, and you go there, and then you will right-click "activate it" and it will prompt you saying it will warp you to the last known location (it spawns the event dynamically) and when you reach that area, you fight a small little scenario mission, the idea is rat hunters will become more like adventurers trying to exploring these logs, sometimes to find hidden complexes (on a much smaller scale for solo hunters, each time you kill an area, another log for that system becomes available and takes you to a different area, or whatever) sometimes you will find NPC wreckages that you can salvage, or just mysterious anomolies, whatever.
The point is that the new system doesnt devalue isk, everything still costs the same, its just everyone gets richer much faster. Eve isnt a real economy that experiences inflation due to devalued currency, and thats because the free-market player driven economy hasnt taken off 100%, it still has a long way to go. If you want to give NPC hunters like me more money, make it more interesting, dont bring back chaining with was boring and repetitive, dont increase bounties to insane levels, make the NPC Logs "instanced events" so they are unique to everyone, have them only last a period of 24 hours (more difficult scenario logs can last longer) so no one stock piles them, and when I mean last, dont have them dissapear just have a personal note saying something to the extent "that probably wont be here in 24 hours" on the log.
You can make things work the right way, or the wrong way (yes I know that wrong is subjective, and you ultimately know if it will work or not--but from my and many other peoples stand point, it just doesnt seem like it will work).
I think many will agree that my idea would make things MUCH better. (or maybe they wont )

I had the same issue with the merc commander, i took a screenshot of it as well. Said it was a peaceful player and that i could lose security for attacking. It did not negatively impact security. Devs if you want the screenie evemail me.
Other than that it looks really good so far (except for the ugly stop sign).

Inferno Torpedo build requirements.
You announced in advance that missiles where going to be cheaper to build post patch. Yes a lot of them are and yes the Inferno now needs a lot less ore but, previously it had no Zyd in its recipe and now it has 2, is this intentional and if so how is this making it cheaper to build?

The spawns are more interesting and fun, we like them a lot. But they aren't so challenging to justify the current insane bounties. I suspect that the damage output reduction to compensate for the new defenses was a bit too drastic. Add to their damage output or lower the rewards.
Too much money entering the economy as we speak, with no adeguate money sinks to compensate.

This post is simply to agree with the above that bountys are to high. The new spawns are great just please adjust the risk vs reward. Also look into the rats at gates in 0.0 because you say it should be rare but on a 10 jump trip 6 had rats. I was under the impression that cruise missles were going to lose agility which would make it difficult for them to hit frigates. But then I had my corp mate shoot one at me and it hit me no problem.
If frigs are no longer supposed to use MWD's in combat, then how are they supposed to dodge cruise missles? Any frigate without a MWD will die. Granted, the ship that fired these at me was a scorpion, so I'm not sure if his ships speed bonus made the difference or not...seems unlikely.
I understand the need to increase the speed of cruise missles so that they can be used for long range. But please nerf their agility so they can't be used to kill frigates that are orbiting at close range, doing somewhere around 400-1000 m/s. Make them use heavy missles or even light missles to hit frigates.

So what happens when an Impaler webs and scrambles you in an Arma? They're immune to EM and Thermal damage, which means you get to sit there and watch your ship slowly die to 2 frigates.

I've had this as well, also weren't secure cans supposed to be removed by now. You said you were going to start damaging them in >0.8 but they are all still there.

Client fix today will fix the incorrect threat indicator.
Server fix will correct sentries, two issues causing stuck cases, fixing many NPC bounties (incorrect values went to TQ), various standing fixes.
