Constructive comments here, this is the place to get it noticed. Please don't start multiple threads and read the previous posted issues or known issues before posting your own.
Known issues are missing market items, various standings display bugs, threat indication display reversed, and node deaths (resulting in stuck cases, lag on these nodes and CTD's)."
This includes the issues : - Missile modules (Cruise, dmg mod) and skills missing from market - Missing Rails - Standing gain too much when pirate hunting (display bug, correct standing is on server) - Trade window - NPC bounty got incorrect increase values - Market window broken (95.1%) - Some cases missile launcher not autorepeating - Those that have more than 200 standing can not change or delete old standings - Turret hittting being audited
As always, Tech Level 2 additions are not visible from the market, they come through Research agents. First batch added roughly a week ago.
Client fix today will fix the incorrect threat indicator.
Server fix will correct sentries, two issues causing stuck cases, fixing many NPC bounties, various standing fixes and bad direct trade sessions get items back. More fixes if they get through QA before downtime.
*I'm only listing the most severe either in gameplay stopping or outspread. Sound is known but limited spread. _____________________________ I say hey sky, s'other say I won say, I pray to J I get the same ol' same ol. |

By standing gain, do you mean security status? It seemed to work pretty good yesterday, a corpmate gained about 0,4 rating killing some NPC battleships. If that's a bug, my suggestion is to fix the server so that it actually GIVES security rating instead of having it the old way, 0.1 sec per 10000 NPCs killed.
Also, by "Rails"... Is this about the accuracy problem everyone seems to be having with large turrets (425mm rails/1400mm's etc)?

The sound is broken for me. Before patch it was fine, and in all other applications and games it is still just fine. In EVE, however, the sound gets somewhat spotty and distorted with "noise", kind of like when speakers are normally broken.
If I run in windowed mode, the problem spreads to other applications as well, i.e winamp. As soon as EVE is closed down, it's fine and back to normal...

Good work on the fast fixes guys.
And very good to see that the NPC bounties indeed were a mistake, not intended.
with "rails" do you mean the missing 350mm rails or the knwo issue with inverted optimal/falloff on railguns ? _______________________________________________

Just wondered if there was any update on missile flight speeds, will they be updated in today's downtime ?

First issue: Graphics bugs related to some pirates firing their missiles (looks that way at least), when such pirates (usually frigates, I've seen it with Arch Angel Ambushers and Impalers) fire a missile it leaves a sphere in space that looks like this.
They come up as "Power Manager" in the scanner with the type "Reactor Control Unit I".
Second: Angel Impalers' hull seems to be immune to both EM and Thermal damage. While damaging shields I get hits like:
2004.06.16 09:52:36combatYour Dual Modal Heavy Laser I lightly hits Arch Angel Impaler, doing 57.5 damage. Your Dual Modal Heavy Laser I lightly hits Arch Angel Impaler, doing 57.5 damage.
But as soon as I get him to hull every hit turns into:
2004.06.16 09:52:43combatYour Dual Modal Heavy Laser I hits Arch Angel Impaler, doing 0.0 damage. Your Dual Modal Heavy Laser I hits Arch Angel Impaler, doing 0.0 damage.
regardless of range, velocity or tracking. So far I've only seen this happen with the Impaler, I can kill other Angel frigates just fine.
Third: Although this isn't an issue with this patch in particular, there's been a bug with the UI that's been annoying the hell out of people for a while now. Sometimes you can hover the mouse over a moon and be able to right click on it and warp to it, but sometimes hovering the mouse over a moon brings up no icon and right clicking brings up the solar system menu instead of a 'warp to' menu for that moon. As far as I know it only happens with moon icons.

Oh, if you have several guns try and reload at the same time under laggy conditions from the same ammo pile, you get this very ANNOYING popup saying that it cannot find ammo.
At the very least, it shouldn't be a popup. Nearly lost a ship because of the damn thing.
This problem was reported on Chaos, weeks before this patch.

By the way, concerning my sound issue. I have no problems with CCP adjusting game balance and so, and I am not overly disturbed by bugs such as ships getting stuck on me...
However, if I can't use sound in this game (which I cannot now since you get a headache after ten minutes because of the ticking background noise), now there's a thing that will cause me to leave the game. Not because I want to, for I still love the game, but simply because it doesn't become playable no more...
Please tell me I'm not the only one? If it's rare chances are it will never be fixed...

ok guy's lets calm down now.
We all can see that there working there butts off to fix things, and we know that introducing a patch to 7000 players isn't the easy'est job in the world.
First of all, patch actually went very good for me. had no lag at all and not really found any critical bugs. Just 2 that prolly are allready mentioned :
1. Missile launchers seem to get "stuck" in a case where you deactivate them imideatly after laanching a missile. This causes the launcher to appear orange and keep firing missiles until its empty. No way to stop if execpt for losing your lock by warping out or anything similar.
2. 1400 are deffinatly bugged. My corpmate had a apoc full of them fitted and he did the same insane amounts of damage with the guns as before the patch. Various ranges. Still remained that way after he refitted his whole ship. -----------------------

Does this "NPC bounty got incorrect increase values" also include raising the bounties on non-pirate NPC's?

Your not the only one, various parts of my sound for Eve sound screwed up, guns, missiles and stargates to name a few.

Is agent standing a bug as well? My agent had a 8.x standing yesterday before the 19.30 reboot. After the reboot it had dropped to 2.3 or so.

Not going to happen for the moment, sorry. The ingame bug reporting is a bit of a problem for a number of reasons, the biggest being that you can never submit a useful log / crash dump or image with it, and another being that people have often mistaken the ingame bug reporting for a form of petition, which it isn't. Ingame bug reporting will only come back when we have ways to make the reports produced with it worthwhile, rather than encouraging people to submit reports that won't suit our needs to get things fixed in the fastest manner.

My sound is also b0rked - after 30-60 seconds of playing all sounds become speeded up to ~double speed. This extends beyond EVE and then affects all sounds in windows - .wav's, .mp3's, .wma's - the lot.
"Sound is known but limited spread." - limited maybe, but pretty game-stopping and crucial I'd say?

Interceptor Skill doesnt seem to be applying sig radius reduction properly:
Interceptor lvl 5 Crow Base Sig Radius 80 In flight Sig Radius 60
also, 1MN MWD II, seems to be missing the 'SigRadiusBonus' field and has no effect on signature when activated - is this intentional?
If the MWDII thing is an oversight / bug it would be nice if the tech II version of the 1MN MWD had a reduced sig radius increase type effect.
oh - and good work on all the speedy patching n' stuff, it's much appreciated.

Well, they changed Interceptor sigt radius to 5% per level, before you got 80 - 50% = 40 sig, but now you only get 80 - 25% = 60 sig.

The new mission Operation: System Cleaning gives 6 BM's to go and kill rats. When you accidently warp away, the misison rats despawn, and you can't complete the mission.

If you switch off sound it doesn't stop you from playing, hence not "gamestopping" like being stuck for example. _____________________________ I say hey sky, s'other say I won say, I pray to J I get the same ol' same ol. |

Using sheild transfer modules on a captured station doesn't seem to work - the modules just don't seem to activate. Haven't tried them on anything else but they certainly don't seem to work on stations.

Here are some bugs i have encountered since this patch:
-The small blue icon that appears in the lower right part of target icons to show accuracy no longer shows up. I've spoken to other people about this and they seem to have the same problem. -Related to the first bug, I can't see the accuracy in the ship UI readout when hovering the mouse over various weapons. Previously i could see 'ACC: 0.70' or similar. -The Channel list window acts wonky, it expands and collapses group folder by itself when just about anything happens, warping, docking, jumping, deleting channels and similar.
That's all i could think of now. I will post new ones when i find them. |

Here's a wierd one:
I refitted my Megathron with an MWD, undocked, initiated a warp of 7au and couldn't make it because I had insufficient cap.
After my cap recharged it behaved as normal.

Angel Ambushers (interceptor npc's) cause a beachball-like sphere to appear. Mousing over it reveals that it is a power manager. Hello, I've had this problem as well with my onboard nforce2 chipset, it might be related to your soundcard driver, try updating it. It doesn't make this ticking sound for me anymore, but now sometimes, all sound disappears alltogether (which is less annoying, even). I found that changing the refresh rate of your monitor (ingame) fixes this temporarily. (I switch between 75Hz and 85Hz) Good Luck

Quickie before DT - the infamous 'local' bug returned last night (where peoples portraits appear in local even tho they are not there).
Not sure if the convos are crossing systems too, hard to confirm this.
But you fixed it once, fix it again!

Hey Oveur The sound in the game is very important, when mining in a big asteroid, it is usually how you are first alerted to pirates spawning.
Please fix it soon. Thanks, for the forum R.R.

Please fix the extremely irritating bug where small rats spawn hundreds of huge beachballs that explode like massive mines and lag everyone out. They are collidable, so they make missiles useless. Sorry I don' have any better bug info. In Curse it seems only the Angel Ambushers spawn them.
