Hi everyone,
obviously I posting as an alt. I am about to join a major Pirate Corp and have a unique oppertunity. I am a director in my current PVE Corp. The corp is extremely rich, owning hundreds of BPOs, ships and mods. I have access to all hangers, cans, etc inclding the corp wallet 100 bill+. The question no is not one of Morale (I got none)
The question is: Is it in terms of game rules legal for me to steal everything including all assets, ships (even from member hangers) without them filing a petition and getting the stuff back.

To answer yer question, yes it is completely legal to steal everything ingame. The only thing illegal is stealing accounts or using stolen accounts to steal ingame items, that is wrong. But corp theft is a-ok.
Please, please, please, give us screenshots of all the loots and maybe some chat logs (corp/alliance chats) when they find out. You must laugh at them in corp chat and rile them up. I live on carebear tears and I need more juice!

If you actually do this:
a) Post pics/screenshots of the loot, and your wallet balance before and after or some pics as proof.
b) Post the name of the alliance/corp that you bilked the goods from, pretty please. 
As far as your question, yes, it's permitted, and CCP will not do anything against you for in-game thievery.

You won't get banned or have the stuff taken back but you'd better be prepared to write off your main as no one will trust him ever again with so much as an ammo hanger. Forget about members hangers you can't take crap out of those (can see them and put stuff in but not remove). Douchebag move but it's your choice.

If you actually check the EULA, it says all the characters, isk and game items are the property of CCP, so you're not stealing any virtual goods in any legal sense, as it isn't the players property anyway.

You know if you pull this off and it's really as profitable as you've described, you can continue using your main as the newest member of the GHSC. I believe they require a 20 bil+ theft, but also require that you take full responsibility for what you did, with your main. Track down their recruitment thread for details.

There are no rules against stealing your corp blind.
My suggestion? Steal everything that isn't bolted down, and then go get some haules to try and steal what is (pos's and crap).
Take to empire, somewhere safe, and systematically sell everything off.
Then use the massive amounts of isk you've acquired to sell your character and buy a new main so no one knows who the hell you are. (oh, btw, buy your new character with an alt....)
And please send me a few billion while you're at it:-) |

btw, pubbie carebear corps make an absolute ton of isk on typical carebearish things (invention, production, mining, etc...) so it is not inconcievable that they have this much isk. It would just seem foolish to keep it all accessible to people who could easily walk away with it all... |

I am wondering what's CCP's statement here?!
Due to the fact that 100bil has that kind of rl value because CCP earns money with ISK paying for GTC it's also some kind of stealing rl money.
For me it sounds illegal and bad at this level of ISK.
EVE has really some problems due to the fact that this game needs rl investments.
Overall lots of player worked for the wallet.
It has some kind of value and it's some kind of border between: just a game and serious rl stuff.
I would say: if CCP's EULA is allowing that then you can do it.
Think also about the consequences. It's not like ransom one pilot for 50mil.
And I would never ever give out any rl intel after that. Never!
I doubt that this will be safe.
If even one guy in game knows who you are, keep your mouse button away from it.
100bil is too serious here. It's not like losing some ships tbh.
I believe that many player can't see in this moment: it's just a game, so what.
Especially the alliance leadership. You will definitely frak up months of hard work and the whole alliance.
And eventually your fun for the game when people REALLY hate you and not just smack.
My dirty 2 ISK to that.

mylo If you want the honest answer you should totally do it. If it is over 100 billion go for it.
Keep in mind that anything in 0.0 will have to stay there. leave a jump clone. Then once everything is in place wait for there to be no one online that counts. Then move everything from the corp hanger to a members hanger ie yours. do this from the corp assets window. Empty the wallet and you are done. Dont feel bad about any of it. THIS IS A GAME. You found the I win button.
You put things on the market sell it until you get 10-15 billion then you make an alt and then you buy a new toon with isk :) Put the new toon on a new account. pay for the toons with isk. Leave the old toon training for titan or something long and then sell the old toon :) Or keep him you are set.

I wouldn't do it, but you can see by the response of this thread, you know what they want you to do.
You may be even able to find a corp with this over your head.Don't expect to get access to anything, but atleast your new corp will know you aren't going to rat 23/7 and you might actually PvP in pretty toys.
