You have to note that GBC doesnt very often bring those numbers, I was in fleet during the inital fighting yesterday and no, GBC numbers in these "after reports" are bloated.

The problem here is that M-O is a NC system and they know since 2 days what would happen last night and they still waited till GBC was in place instead of being in 1st. After they failed to be being 1st in they decided to jump full knowing that the chance of a crash is 99% ergo no need to complain/whine about node crash and stuff.

It means that you accept that the game has these flaws, but choose to play it anyway with those flaws and risks! After you have made that decision, the burden of the consequences are on YOUR shoulders! Complaining about falling victim to a risk one WILLINGLY undertook with full knowledge of it is quite frankly PATHETIC! Add the fact that people are whining so much about VIRTUAL INTERNET SPACESHIPS just makes it even more pathetic! More or less exactly the same situation happened to GBC last weekend. We didn't whine/*****/complain/emoragequit over it. We accepted the consequences of our own actions and the losses without complaint. We didn't besiege the forums, we didn't (afaik) besiege the petition system. Really, NC and their buddies are just trying in any way they can to escape taking responsibility for their own actions and the consequences of those actions. This is IMHO the cowards way out! And blatantly lie in order to justify something that simply put is not true is another one of your traits. There are a number of things CCP can do regarding this particular case, and if they do it right none of them will go to your favour because you did nothing in game last night that would put you in a position to gloat except have people that logged in first and kill offline ships with black screen loading. That is not the way CCP intended EVE to be played and won or lost. If you gloat and make lie threads over something like that, than you are trully against EVE and the manner in which CCP, all GMs and the whole community intends EVE to develop. Facts are: one fleet is holding the system, the other one jumps in through gate and cyno. Fight comences, lag is managable, both fleets are in the same system fighting. The fleet that jumped now has a numerical and tactical advantage. More caps, more bs. This last for around 10 minutes. Node crashes. Fleet that was in the system before, even tough outnumbered and outgunned, and even tough the fleet that jumped in has gotten into the system mostly unharmed, manages to log in and kill some offline internet spaceships with pilots stuck on black screen. I am sure your tactical and strategical genius is going to be discussed for generations to come and it may even be studied on military academies around the universe.

Everyone jumps in, server lags out, node crashes, BoB gets back first, BoB wins. Everyone cries haxploit, nobody cares. You just need to face up to something folks. They're better at it than you are. They care about winning at this game more than you do. There isn't any length to which they won't go to win. I'm not suggesting that they're hacking. I am suggesting that they do surf lag and node crashes better than anyone in the game. They've figured out how. Probably spent a lot of time doing it. Again, they just care more than you do. So, different war, different year, pretty much the same Molle post. I'm sure he lives to make them, and has probably sacrificed a lot so that he can. The only sad part about all of this is that a superior ability to surf the lag and crashes still holds this much advantage after this much time. It really is time for the mechanics to change. Radically. BoB's knowledge of how to win like this is hard gained, and well deserved, I'm sure, but at the end of the day, winning and losing should come down to playing the game, not being able to play the servers.
