Edited by: Rajere on 23/10/2008 19:25:30 You guys squabble over your respective kb stats here on CAOD, accuse one another of not posting losses, of "cherry picking" statistics to use for campaigns, etc and so forth, for what is ultimately a "who fails less" award.
HF boards shows they have 52.9% efficiency (10.2bil destroyed) vs TRS's 47.1% (9.1bil destroyed). TRS's kb claims HF has a 54.9% efficiency (15.7bil destroyed) vs TRS's 45.1% (12.9bil destroyed). Both of your campaigns began on the same day and have run for 43 days so far. You're obviously using different values, HF's is for isk loss after insurance, TRS is using jita market cost. Not that it really matters, cus both of your efficiencies are just god awful, you guys are fighting over not being last place in the special olympics race tbh.
While not precisely the same, the ship values between NOTR and HF's kbs are close enough that we can make general comparisions between the two of you and NOTR:
This #@#$ is B A N A N A S Campaign represents our corps activity since we began reforming No Trademark and reunited in y9g on 10/19/08.
We've killed 75% as much isk as HF has killed of TRS since the start of the campaign, and we've killed 83% as much ISK as TRS has killed of HF since the start of the campaign. Both Campaigns are stats over the last 43 days. Except we did it in our first 3 1/2 days.
You are 300+ and 550+ man alliances respectively, and each part of 1k+ man nap-fest coalitions. We are 12 guys, with 15 characters total so far. At the time of this writing, we have a ~93.68% efficiency, and that includes doing things like suiciding t1 cruisers to fighter bomb CNR's in the middle of a 30man battleship fleets which are sieging someone else's POS, warping geddons in to hostile deathstars to tackle dreadnaught's, scouting with plated/trimarked battleships, tackling with falcons, and other such hilarious antics which aren't really advisable, yet we're somehow capable of winging on the fly, as we're completely disorganized collection of smack talking pirates and never plan further than the next kill. We kill everyone, and have no blues.
There. If you're going to smack each other over killboards, atleast have something worth smacking about. |

I believe its easier to keep efficiency high with a small group of pvpers that go out in-gang specifically to pvp together than a large alliance of "do what you will during the day, but we will get a gang together at x 'o clock" players. ;)
Also, with just the 12 of you, your more likely to be able to cherry pick your fights. But, 3 well earned cap kills i guess ;) |

This is why your efficiency is so high. Simple rules of math and logic there. Its much much easier to keep a better efficieny with less numbers.. either way.. good job though it is a good efficiency.

failcascade? we left syndicate because of all the pos warfare.... yes its fun to kills caps and all but it get to a point were its boring. same crap different day. and besides, like we have mentioned before we were planning on leaving syndicate WAYYYYYY before any of the pos warfare started. the only reason we stuck around was because we had a dyspro moon and that held us in TA for an extra few months til we lost it....

If by cherry picking fights you mean "engaging anything that's not docked/cloaked regardless of how suicidal it appears to be, going out of our way to scour space surrounding our constellation looking for anything and everything to kill, extreme smack talking the 35 people docked in our constellation to grow a pair and undock against our 5 man gang, til they either fight us or leave our space (they chose to move out)," then yes, we certainly have been cherry picking our fights.

The fights last night where marvelous and fun. Not very much lag (thx CCP!). Total kills on both sides must be roughly 150-200.
TRS and Friends finally brought it and showed balls after loosing the first two rounds to come out for a third round. My respect for that. I hope we get more of that.

If I could make a humble request, could I get a general overview of the parties in play here? Nothing detailed or specific of course, just what you'd give to an outsider curious about the goings ons in syndicate? Ya know, basic who's who, a vague estimate of where they live, and who's team they're pitching for? I assume the two teams are The Red Skull and Huzzah Federation, or is there three teams? bruce (well ex) being a third party? they've said they'd side with Huzzah over TRS if it came down to it, or something to that effect. What about PURE? and SWAT? they both seem to be living in Solitude?
Thanks in advance for the helpful information that's sure to follow this request

Its Huzzah, The Red Skull and Thorn Alliance, all living in PC9. Hence, i assume, the OP's "cluster****" description. ....iz naize!
but ofc, there are peeps from other corps and alliances on both sides getting in on the pew pew too. |

Lets be honest here. Do you really think Tygris live in Y9G Cluster? I log in ANY time and all Tygris RAN for the hills with ZERO fight. The only people in the TA Constellation are some fails in AZ that wont fight either, they try to ninja rat their existance.
Thank you. Have a nice day.

Edited by: Bartfast on 26/10/2008 20:05:29 Having gone 1-0 down to an early own goal in pc9 (moros) Huzzah have played a blinder just before half time with a great long ball into empire and captured a Redskull freighter ...
Half time has seen a few changes in personnel with the arrival of thorn alliance who have enjoyed a lot of possession but have not really made it count ...
Last night saw thorn and Redskull launch an attack but huzzah hit back with a classic counter attack going 2-1 up with a moros kill then 3-1 up taking a thanatos down shortly afterwards plus support
Skirmish warfare continues with Huzzah holding the upper ground
Only time will if late into the second half thorn and RedSkull will fight back ...

Let's not forget the support from Fire Mandrill and cap support from 0mega Factor who came to help Huzzah. The last few battles were some serious carnage. Props to all who participated, it was fun. |

NOTR came back home to TA-A7V on 10/19. Tygris moved out of TA-A7V the next day. They live in PVH now. SWAT was living next door in Pertnineere (solitude), they have moved as well to an unknown location. I take it 0mega factor are also in the Huzzah camp? Also Phoenix Rising, they in the Red Skull camp?
JQV seems to be inhabited by ex-bruce, The Dead Parrot Shoppe and Shade. corps. The last thing I heard about syndicate before we moved back was that Huzzah was moving out of JQV back into PC9, and that SWAT lived in JQV. I assumed bruce booted SWAT out, and then tygris reset swat or something? I thought SWAT and Tygris were blue with each other, even though huzzah and SWAT had reset each other? Or did tygris and huzzah reset SWAT at the same time?
I can't speak for anyone else in my corp, and NOTR officially does not care about politics or blues so I cannot speak for my corp as a whole, but when we first got back I personally favored Red Skull over Huzzah, but now I have no preference, red skull are just as blobby as the rest.
Fire Mandrill and Omega Factor are blue to us.
Phoenix Rising are not in any camp i believe. We got a few kills on them in Reb and 6-C. None of them came ever into PC9 pocket.
Covenant moved out of PC9 pocket late september i guys... thats what our killboard suggests... maybe some of them 24/7 docked up in zn0 or t22 :D

Edited by: Rajere on 27/10/2008 09:09:34 I'm pretty sure Phoenix Rising Alliance are in the Red Skull camp, as they were camping one of our gangs into t22 along with Red Skull and others, and not shooting one another.
In our trips into pc9, I've not seen ocularis or covenant. Setting orange standings for Redskull/Thorn cleared local up of neutrals, until Phoenix Rising showed up, and setting them orange as well once again cleared local of neutrals. Now if we could just have about 5 more colors for hostiles then we could color code everybody and leave Neutral for truly unknown targets. We even debated using light blue to color code the bruce faction, but it would end up causing too many problems with people not adjusting their overviews to take them into account or getting out of the mindset that light blue = friendly. |

Having additional colors would be a very good feature... I have been *****ing about it with my alliance and corp for a long time. In a place like Syndicate with the ever changing scenery you really need it. Maybe one day..
