When I was a few weeks into this game I started looking around at the map and saw this mysterious place in space that was totally vacant, and there was no way to get to it. Jove. So I start investigating, doing google searches, asking people about it. I saw in another thread that the devs said several years ago that it is possible to find a way in. I also saw a video where someone had manually navigated there, which came off to me as a cheat as there would be no session change, so I decided to look into it.
Journey begins. So I start getting the skills to explore and learn how to use them, Ive been making my way though space, looking for clues and having as much fun as i can along the way. Ive gathered a notebook of possible clues; patterns on ghost ships, formations, numbers, layouts of the missions/complexes/exploration sites. Ive tried decrypting various things I've found, heading off to where that clue leads me, but nothing has lead into another clue.
So now that my main character is somewhat seasoned, I am losing hope. As much as I want to be wrong, I am starting to believe the developers have not put something so clever into this game.
My question requires a simple yes or no answer from a developer and only a developer.
Am I wasting my time trying to find clues that would lead me into Jove sovereign space?

many pilots have done the same thing, the bad news is there is no way to get to jove space atm
the ones that got there did it 3-4 years ago by "clonejumping" to the stations in jove region that had cloning service but that got nerfed

Can someone find the guy a link to the official CCP announcement - God knows how long ago, probably in late 2003 - that the loophole allowing entry to Jove space was being cut off, and it would no longer be possible to get there?
Otherwise, the OP doesn't know whether we know what we're talking about or not.

I have done my research and know of all the ways that were exploited to get into Jove.
There are 2 sections of Jove. One is where some bug testing goes one. The other is Jove sovereign. In addition to that there are 2 systems that connect to nothing, with stations such as 'Magic Land'.
The chunk of space that is mysterious is the Jove sovereign. The devs talking about this on Eve radio I believe was in 05. So many people say there is not a way in, but they really do not know if there is a mystery to unlock.
I want an answer from a dev.

There used to be an sploit where you could CJ to Jove space in 03 but it was locked out . Plus the markets were not seeded.

That's why I asked someone to hunt up the answer that WAS given by a dev, which was conclusive; you can't get in.
I just don't know from five years down the line, where it'll be.

why would anyone wanna go to jove space? it smells of bleach all the time, they have weird heads and seem not to be interested in vital nurishment like sex and alcohol!

Common sense can give you an answer.
Content creation takes money(developer time) if there was content there the CCP would tip us off so as not to waste their own work.
Since theres nothing there they dont want us going there.
If you think corp is different than a guild or clan you have some insecurity issues.

Is the reason it is locked because there is a trail of clues setup for someone to find their way in? To get in outside of following that trail could be an exploit? My question to the devs remains - Am I wasting my time looking for clues that could lead into Jove?

Now you're just being silly. If there were a way in at the end of some trail of clues, then it would not BE locked, would it? There'd be a way in.

Code to get into space > Delete said code > No code written to enter said space...

why even bother in having such a race if it cant be used , why bother having jove ships if they are not used , why even bother in having jove system if it cant be accesed by any regular means , might as well section off those nodes and not even have them appear in eve, or make them to be like the testing server

I agree with you on the ghost hunt. I would just like to hear it from someone who knows, not someone who speculates.

Considering the belts have no asteroids, there are no npcs and the agents wont talk to you i highly doubt CCP added a magic gate to the jove land, it would be pretty boring there.

You can get into Jove Romp Stomp - ofc I'm not going to tell you how because I've spent 2 yrs trying and it's only now I'm reaping the rewards of my efforts. Just remember, as with everything else in Eve, things are there for a reason, and Jove space is no different.

PS: T reference, if you have a piece of scrap metal at planet X at the further most system in North East Corner a secret gate will open and allow you to pass to Jove space, no technique to return from the 'realm' has ever been reported.
In order to unlock Wrangler's secret stash, you need to Dolls in your inventory... some kid of 'talking' to them may help.
If you ever encounter Lady of Exotic Dance make sure not to worship her (hore ship), she may a-maze you in guristas 10/10 plex, nicknamed 'the maze'
Liquid Spirit of Deitis, your beloved one may advice you to crackle a phalanx missile... it will take you out of Motsu-a-ry immediately
