Well i noticed a char ingame, called Ulrikke Meinhoff.
For those of you who know their history, you would also know that she was a terrorist, murderess, bankrobber and generally stroke fear into the european populace, during the 70¦ths. She was part of the Bader-Meinhoff gang.
I would say thats a pretty offensive name, allthough i think the person who uses this name, is either an ignorant, or just plane stupid
So Say I. Einheriar Ulrich of the Bloodline of Einheriar.

There is a dude in real life called Willie Stroker, he is a presenter on the Horse racing channel. Never fails to amuse.
You all need to lighten up, nothing I see in a virtual game will ever offend me. You should see some of the stuff my CEO sends me via msn, thats offensive 
So HMV consider Andy Williams and Dean Martin to be "easy listening" do they? Tell that to my mate Dave, he's been deaf for 20 years.

Just the past two hours I saw three female characters with variants of "[female dog]" as part of their names.
Maybe those players had a reason to pick those names. Or maybe it was just coincidence.
I mean, hey!
I saw a whole twenty different people in space this morning.
It is "only" 15% of the player characters I saw today who think that calling women as female dogs is entertaining and acceptable. Why should we feel offended at that. Really!!?!
On the Adolf name issue. If someone picked that name, they
(a) would know who that was. amd ³ocled the name because of that.,
(b) had no clue. But how likely is (b)? Not like it is a "john smith" type commone name.
Those player characters I saw today would likely not have picked the name "[female dog]" (or variants of it), if they would not know that it is used to refer in a negative way to women.
If it was to use the animal personality in a positive way, then why do we not see a same ammount of characters named deer, doe, stag, wolf, drake, etc...?
Ignorance (or Stupidity) is not an excuse to on purpose hurt people.
PS: Doh! The forum replaced the name I saw in space with little * placeholders. I would think that thisis a hint to log back in and report those persons.
PPS: Not so easy to get this posted, ..
H itler isnt a very common austrian name, and i never met one in germany named so ^^
probably everybody changed their names

Yall Euros need to just shush about not finding stuff offensive and such. I live in a country (US) where I can sue anyone I want over anything imaginable (especially offensive stuff), and with a good enough lawyer and a stupid enough jury (latter is more important, and common) I can not only win but make you pay me piles of money in the process.

Yall Euros need to just shush about not finding stuff offensive and such. I live in a country (US) where I can sue anyone I want over anything imaginable (especially offensive stuff), and with a good enough lawyer and a stupid enough jury (latter is more important, and common) I can not only win but make you pay me piles of money in the process.

Yeah that janet jackson thing was ridulous. Wow a whole sagging breast. I'm really offended. Lets all write in with a complaint. Its ok to have my kids watch mutilated corpses on CNN but not a breast.
I can't believe people are offended by such stupid little things. I remember a guy on a forum who was offended by swear words. How stupid is that? He must have spent his entire life locked in a cupboard. Or be permently offended.
