Personnally, I think that there is way too much political correctness within the game. Remember when the Isralie Defense Force had to change thier name, but the Brits did not. Playboy is in the game, but is directly against the EULA - it is copyrighted.
I just find the double standards and political correctness a little over whelming at times.

nope in germany parents arent allowed to names their children in any humiliating way or even that everybody else would laugh at them.
and you sure arent allowed to take every name you want, try to name you ***** binLaden in the USA, or Adolf ****** in germany. i think the state has something against them (maybe you dont get your name in germany, in USA you may get the name and you get a holiday in guatanamo near Cuba  )
I dont know about Germany, but in the US you can name yourself or children anything you want. Of course you run the risk of public ridicule or worse. But you wont go to prison for it. But that is not the point. The original poster is under the mistaken impression that Eve is an extension of real world liberties. Eve is in fact a private corporation that allows you to play as long as you follow their rules. And this is no different then any other private company in the real world. Walk into a restaraunt and **** the owner off and your right to ever eat there again is gone. You dont have any kind of gaurantee to act as you see fit within another persons business or home, even if your conduct would be acceptable elsewhere. So at the end of the day all that matters is what CCP finds offensive. That may or may not mirror to a large degree what other players find offensive, but it is CCPs whim and CCPs alone.

It seems odd that my aunts name *****(f@nny, yes thats her real name shes about 80) is censored and so is my uncle richards shortened name. But I can post words like feltch which is an offensive word fine
I have even had someone report my name as offensive. How can you possibly find my name offensive, within the rules of the eula?
When it all comes down to it people will whine about pretty much anything. They can find offence in a simple action, a single word or a misplaced gesture. oh well to them I say get over it, its just a game.
