two things:
# Agents sometimes gives missions to systems with status 0.5 or higher to players that are unable to enter those systems.
1)This is not a problem when you have an agent an agent in 0.4!!! The system should not concern itself if they can enter in 0.5 or not because a player in 0.1 has missions in 0.0!
2)I found several rats 2500km away from the Rens stagate in Abudban. I started approach in my interceptor at 2000km the poofed away. --------------------------

defenders cut your ship speed in half when fired. Is this a bug or a feature? It looks to be a bug to me but it's been around since forever  defenders are pretty useless atm, unless you don't plan to move in combat..

Guristas Bulkers (Indys I think, since they dropped large amounts of minerals) has no mesh assigned and thus are only visible on the scanner. However since it has no mesh to calculate distance too, the distance will be locked at what it was when you first entered the belt. So they can orbit you and it still states "74 km". Also from EVE-I they seem to have cruiser-stats, HP, bounty etc.
Your 425mm Prototype I Gauss Gun perfectly strikes some nublar, wrecking for 1155.0 damage. |

Laser Dmg types need some serious rethinking.
At the moment it's impossible for a Amaar BS users to hunt NPC BS's, because you've given them high EM dmg, but you've also shifted most of lasers dmg into that grp so you can't even drop their shields.
While you can vary crystals this still is a problem, as to shift from EM at the moment also massively reduces their range and gives tracking probs on Tachs etc due to this.
Instead I think crystals should allow the user to change the frequency of his beams and set dmg type more rather than effect just range, and think carefully about removin high resistances off NPC's but giving them a hitpoint boost instead.

I have posted this as a thread also, but I'll add it here:
Deleting folders in People & Places is bugged.
This has happened to me since the patch and Neomorph confirmed the same on the General Discussion forum.
If you delete a folder of bookmarks, it correctly removes the contents of the folder, but instead of deleting the folder, it deletes the next folder down in the list.
This results in all the bookmarks in that second folder dumping out of the folder into the main people & places section, since they have no folder to be in anymore.
Meanwhile, the folder you wanted to delete sits there still, albeit now correctly empty.
While this doesn't result in the loss of bookmarks it's annoying and confusing, especially if it means your bookmarks get mixed up.

That ok then cos ya pretty much can't hit anything with ya guns unless ya stopped anyway. hehe
Tracking on all guns still needs massive work, at lev 3 guenry skills inc motion prediction hitting anything while moving over +80 TRansversal and your in dire probs, even with a tech 2 tracking mod, and on a megathron that's got tracking boost Gal (BS 3), you have to be pretty much stationary to hit, which should tell you something. :(
Tracking etc should be removed I think and dmg calculated at destination as per current missile propsals, for many of the same reasons.
Tech 2 Heak Sinks do not fuction, and don't apply their bonus to lasers, when used on my apoc.
For some reason when using alot of drones there's always 2 that lag behind and fail to return without repeating order several times.
Still a prob with Drone spam and collision on ships, hindering their movement as with jettison cans.
Scanner failing to detect or display some roids/ships in the players immedaite area. ie using range to find the nearest roid of a certain type only to discover visually that there's another on the scanner far closer that doesn't appear on the contact list.

I second these points. Especially the group reprocessing of loot. It can be quite frustrating to manually recycle each piece of loot separately after a long run of npc hunting.

It appears that security status is now stuck at 5.0 I was at 4.5 about a month ago and now am at 5.0 and have killed numerous guristas battleships spawns and have not received one security status increase.

Bookmark.
1st-> When selecting a bookmark and SCROLLING (to move it to another folder), it change the selected bm for another one.
2nd-> Workaround--> put the bm in your cargo, have to do 2 dragging (and pass by server). Otherwise if 1st way were working, it client side only. Nice links (updated 20 Dec 04): BP, bugs about them. (\_/) (O.o) (> <) This is Bunny. Copy Bunny into your signature to help him on his way. |
