Hopefully I will keep failing on and off, learning things the hard way puts the shame on your brain, nothing like jumpstarting it the embarrassment way. That being said, worst fail I can think of was me in a Heretic attacking a cyno frig in low sec. Had been so long in 0.0 that I forgot about stations having sentry guns. Since that day I have sentry drones on my roaming pvp overview, kinda helps to remind me if I'm in low- or nullsec.
InfamousOne Chaos Coalition Chaotic Evolution	Posted - 2008.11.25 23:02:00 - [62] My epic fail, my corp had just moved to a lowsec system .3 I believe and as I was moving my stuff out to the new home I got this bright idea to grab my brand new, mostly T2 fitted CNR with me. One day we were out goofing around and one of my corp members was in a belt about to get pwned by 2 faction BS, I dont remember exact type, I want to say 2 of those Machariel (however you spell it). Anyway, myself and my CEO went out to engage these two in our CNR's which we happened to have out testing tanks. We warped to the belt and engaged the 2 BS's, not to long afterwards another 3 BS's and a few cruisers joined the fight against us, needless to say we lost 2 CNR's that day and they didn't lose anything, they did give us props for PvP'ing in shiny ships though :-) My most epic fail to date, I am sure there will be more :-) Cheers.

Been playing as fleet for sometime, not corpies, can drop aggro method, np Anyways entered corp that weekend (well I thought he did) I accepted application a few days before, can't accept, roles not surrendered, np inform him how, accept again 24hr later, still not accepted, roles not surrendered. Had a really hard and tiring weekend, eyes not focusing clear, no energy to play to a theme for the night, he wants to test, yeah ok, np, forget acceptance hasn't gone through, thinking it has, don't need can drop I tell him now we are corpies, o what fun comes next, I line him up get in range, pre arm my modules, lock, WTF, pod, 30mill gone.

Suddenly perforated lumps of Ninja were smeared all over nearby onlookers. Another slice of fail from me; 3 weeks in and flushed with success about how Uber i was and the pwnface kills i had been getting in FW (yeah i know! ) i hop into my very first BC, a Drake with an all best named fit, and decide to knock off a cosmos mission. Alone. My shiny, lovingly cared for, laboriously ground for Drake was promptly webbed, pointed and gang ***ed by 7 NPC Ospreys. It was uniinsured. That really hurts* when you are just over 3 weeks old. Humble pie, administered rat style. I don't want to set the world on fire

I see an iteron V in lowsec and decide to attack it under sentries and see if I could kill him.. I forgot my mwd on for too long [was bumping him] and couldn't warp out in time and got popped by sentries... in the end, iteron was still alive, he picked my loot and left :))) under sentries?? never evaa!!!

So I fitted up all my things in my new hauler (Which I blew the remainder of my ISK for the move), ready to start a new life missioning in Jita. This was a darker time when I knew not the real difference in securities (Just thought that there were less police and that the only dangerous zones were 0.0, which I ventured to quite often to run trap couriers), and WTZ did not exist. Needless to say my 15 jumps through lowsec were hairy and yet mostly quiet. The last jump, 1 more to hisec, was gatecamped by at least 20 people. I was back in my pod 20 jumps from my dream with nothing to my name. There's a lot of fail in this story. _____________ Hai.

Was in a corp a while back and a corpmember, who is into pvp was bored. So she headed to Jita to give a smartbomb a try. She lines up near a gate and let it go. Kills a bunch of ships and get concorded really bad. Sec status hit puts her in 0.4 and the fail part was that... she had no ships in 0.4. her ships were all in 0.5 or higher. I was in a stabber with a clone full of crystals. (don't ask me why, because I don't know.) All 26 of them on the gate camp, but I managed to make it back to the gate... Then bounce off. My ship popped then instead of approaching the gate I accidentally approached one of the ships in the camp so I lost my crystals too. That's probably my biggest fail. -

Warp to complex, kill the rats, return to agent. Back at the agent I click "I'm done, gimme my moneh!" and agent goes "Nope, one or more objective not completed." So I check the details and of course I had forgot to pick up the 0.1m3 item that was needed. I cba to go back there in a BS so get im my shuttle thinking I'd killed everything already. Once back in the deadspace I see the cargo-container about 50km away but some sentries have also respawned. Thinking "Nah, nowai can they track me" I burn it to the container and shuttle remains intact. I reach the container, grab the item, BUMP the container, shuttle stops, sentries track me, item destroyed in resulting explosion... A Blackbird warped into the belt and started attacking me. I was able to get some range on him so my rails would hit, my shields were holding and i probobly would have killed him. But being a noob that i was i decided to cut and run.... Right into a station. but that was ok, it was when he followed me, and i began to open fire on that it got nasty :( #2 The corp gave me a shiny new Dominix, which i didn't have the cash to insure, to mine in. I took it into low-sec; which seemed pretty quiet at the time so i stopped paying attention to local. I alt tabbed back into the game to find myself sitting in structure with a pirate in an incursus demanding a 100mil ransom. None of my corpmates were on and the pirate wouldn't take no for an answer. Popped the domi, and my pod. #3 I was in 0.0 space sitting in what i thought was a safe spot 1000km above a gate so i went AFK to dinner. i came back to see my Thorax's last vestiges of hull vanish before i could hit the repper. damned incursus pilot had been trying to ransom me for 30 minutes while i was at dinner. Yeah. 3 epic fails for me.

I lost a drake worth at least 2b isk in a 2/10 plex doing a cosmos mission. lost a pith a-type medium booster, that was 1.8b by itself :( But you gotta laugh, right?

Teach me for being lazy did the same stuff, but somehow I thought that a rigged crow would do a better job than a shuttle... bump container, well i had a nice tech 2 wreck to my name, which i salvaged for 15 mill... crow price 11 mill, rig price 50 mill, it was my courier crow designed for moving expensive stuff around, luckily the cargo wasn't loaded.

Soes I ask my friend in his Hulk one day if he wants me to insta-warp him. WTF. You have to be in the same corp? Salvage my first Ferox. Running level 3 missions for a while in a Drake. Just sit there and shoot missles. Mission completed. Why not Level 4's? Bye-Bye Jake in a Drake. Two nights ago. Doing "The Assault" Level 4. Mission flagged completed. Still some ships left in group 2. Why not take them out as well? Slow boating towards them. Doorbell rings. GF at the door with coffee from Starbucks as a BD present. Coffee ain't really hot but she is. Take a while thanking her for the coffee. Lose pimped out Drake. Bigger problem. Not mine. Borrowed from a friend. Selling all my (EVE) worldly belongings to replace. EVE: approx $15 a month. Pimped out Drake: Approx 180 Million. Making GF think she is more important than EVE if only for a moment: PRICELESS! Fail has less sting now Do I win? If not, I hope I have at least provided you with as much entertainment as I have my other friends here in EVE. P.S. Clean and sober for 9 years now.... guess I'm just stupid.

Went to a belt in my flying prawn. Saw a can. Looked into it and saw ore. Grabbed some, warped back to station. Announced in player corp chat "Hey, I found a can with ore in it". The response "Yes, it's mine." About a year ago up in fountain, we decide to go have a run at the locals. 2nd day into the assualt I wake up in the morning and before my first coffee I find myself suckered into fc'n a group camping the locals into an NPC station in the same system. So, I fire up the second computer, log in a second toon in a capital, and put it just outside the bubble to hand out fighters for the campers. Long story short, forgot that I had turned sound off on that computer the night before because of a big fleet fight and I got completely zoned into fighting at the station / yapping on TS. I finally look over to the other screen to notice that my ship is not against the bubble anymore just as a nano-macharial from PL slams into it and bounces it even further away. A second later a cyno goes up and I am blinded by all the cynos coming in to gimme a spanking.. I told the guys to stay away that it was a lost cause and we would never get sufficient capitals in to save it in time. That 'capital' was a full faction fit mothership (Aeon) with a ship bay full of hacks and recons plus about 3 billion in t2 fittings in the corp hanger cause I had just jumped it up the night before and never got around to unloading it yet ... DOH! Moral : don't stop paying attention to your mothership outside the bubble in a hostile system when fighting a capital heavy enemy ;)

I cant fit a cloak yet and remember the warnings: "low sec is full of pirates, they will fly around in the system and find you!". There are only a few planets in every system, so if I sit by one, any pirate would find me within a minute or two. But every planet has lots of moons! Sitting by a moon would surely increase my chances to not encounter pirates! So I hop through low sec, from moon to moon, throwing out scan probes. It doesnt take too long, until I hit the first pos. Sentrys start locking me, but I manage to warp out in panic, wondering why there are guns in the middle of nowhere. My warp takes me to another moon and another pos. I decide its better to leave this dangerous system and warp to a gate. The next system has locals in it. They might be pirates! Quickly I warp away from the gate. To another moon of course. This time I hit the force field dead on. Still bouncing around, I get warp scrambled and popped. Back in high sec I complain in corp chat, how ridiculously dangerous low sec is and that I will never enter it again without a cloak! Its a freaking minefield out there!
