Like others are asking, what about the memory leak? Don't see patch notice about that.
I used to be able to run 4 clients with background, now I can only run 3 from which the 3rd client often has white backrgounds and massive lag cus of memory issues.
I conclude that you are still searching for it but didn't find it as of yet? But please inform us about that, so we are kept out of the dark a bit :)
Just state something like "Our developers are working 24/7 with chips, coke and star trek to find the leak, but so far, nothing leaked out of the test computer yet." ;) |

Umm... Memory Issues? How much RAM does your box have? And what type OS are you using? Most likely there are some issues with your box. I have a 64 bit machine (yes, Vista), and I tried how many clients I can run before they become unplayable due to bugs (borrowed a second Graphics card from a friend for that...) - I managed to run 16 clients before I ran out of RAM (8 Gigs ) - no other memory or speed issues noticed... --- "Multiple exclamation marks are a sure sign for a diseased mind." -Terry Pratchett |

Btw check the particles on damaged ships, it reduced the framerate a lot, at least on mine 8800 gts with latest drivers for some reason.

when are the missles getting fixed? would be nice to be able to use em in pvp again.
Same for the webs and same for the normal interdictors as those poor ships can't make it out of their own bubble anymore (without getting killed that is) since the speed nerf

I too must complain about the timing. You guys had to patch on Turkey day? Yes its not a holiday anywhere else, but it is a major holiday in the US and a significant chunk of EvE's playerbase is American. Years ago CCP committed to leaving patch deployments like this out of major holidays and weekends. Its a shame to see them reneging on this promise.
Oh and please leave the whole American Hegemony and Imprealism arguments out of this, its not part of this issue. -------------------

Not gonna happen, the ones who have it in their head that every american is just another ****** waiting for his chance are going to express that view at the slightest opportunity, including us expressing a fairly valid complaint. Wow... apparently the name of Germany's leader during WW2 is censored here. And they call US fascist. ;)
Don't worry, though, we'll get to laugh next year when they decide to have a 25-hour dt on Labour Day (may 1st), and they ***** about how the european community has been wronged. I am carlinator. Remember the man who i'm named after.

Originally by: Patch Notes The order of modules within the production tab of player owned structures will no longer change when reloading or sorting fuel within the tabs. This fix will directly affect the listing of silos, reactors and moon harvesting arrays.
Thank you, at least the POS production menu will be usable again. I was hoping for a remake of the complete menu. In my eyes it is uncomfortable to use and confusing.
There a couple of things on my wishlist concerning POS production :)
- Visual grouping of input / output silos and their reactions would be nice, filter and sort funktions like "show me all the input silos for reaction xy" - posibility to set up notifications when silos are full / empty - better documentation of all the pos stuff in the help e.g. I still dont know what happens when the output silo of a reaction is full - does the reaction continue burning input materials? - Also would like to bigger silo access ranges ( eg. 3000m like the corp hangar array and ship maintenance bay have ) even better would be to change the "all the floating stuff in space thinggy" and let a ship dock at the tower ( still in space just linked to the tower while docked ), then be able to access all functions, arrays and modules of the tower without moving.
( I know it drifted a bit off-topic - where do I post wishes like that? :) )

While I fully don't expect exploit updates prior to a patch, patch notes haven't (correct me if I'm wrong) for a considerable length of time listed exploits after deployment.
Is this a concious change? I've been curious about this for a while now.
I think CCP Mitnal was only referring to regular bugs, that the release notes are updated as more fixes are included.
We do not publish details on exploit fixes and we do not discuss them.

Dear Maria,
Most of the memory and client performance related fixes were deployed last Saturday and most of the fixes today are functional fixes of various types.
There are however a few additional memory, graphics and client performance fixes in the today's release. From the release notes:
Quote:
- The cache settings for the Classic mode and Premium mode are now stored separately.
- Orbital maps in the solar system show info window now display correctly.
I do notice that one fix in today's release is missing from the release notes, a fix that addresses a memory leak in certain circumstances.
In tests we did this week we saw FPS improvements between 1.0.1 and 1.0.2. One specific scenario tested was 200 entities in the same bubble, all shooting, and demonstrated fair improvement.

And when one scrolls up to find what was delayed, it was the mail fixes. All the other elements of this patch are still taking place as normal.

I wonder if your allso adressing the bug when fitting rigs on for example a Kestrel.
When I fit a Kestrel to use rockets and I fit rigs the info on rockets stays the same after the rigging as before the rigging. However extended testing proved that they did take into effect, just that the added stats are not visible when checking the rockets loaded up in the launchers.

Can someone explain why all the Americans whine about patching on their national holiday if the supposed patching period ends at 10 AM EST? Just sleep in one more hour, or take a shower for a change |

Could you delay the changes to when you actually can be bothered to make a decent evemail client, so we might actually get a chance to sort through them
