Yes I did read it, have it here in my library. If I remember correctly the gist of the story was that a corporate executive was tying to steal the company's designs and trying to cover it up. That the cause of the uncovering was an accident that could have been catastrophic for the reputation of the corporation. And that one lone executive did the right thing, saving the company and defeating media allegations into other areas. EQ have a right to feel that their reputation has been hard done to. Reputations in this community become to quickly tarnished by accusations left hanging in disputes, Wars HAVE started over such things as accusations levelled without proof. So EQ are well within their rights to demand an official posting of such info that may clear their name or at least put into a position where they can refute claims. If EV didn't want the incident made public they shouldn't have come to the forums. At that time, I had a very precise reason to do so. Today, the reason for the theft has dissapeared. I notified EV of this through my agent yesterday and my agent returned already 2 bpo's. The remaining 2 bpo's are now in possession of my agent and they will be returned to EV's management this weekend. The good news for EV is that they will recuperate their property which has been researched at least 5 ME levels further. Although my actions will be condemned by numerous people, I shame myself when I read all those accusations posted by the community in which I play for over a year. Shame on you all. Do not forget that the "game" cannot and may not be played on the forums. After all, it is a game...and it is supposed to be fun... EV management may not be blamed for the theft. Equilibria corporation may not be blamed for the theft. I am the one to be blamed. So, start flaming and trolling! I do not care. I would never accuse someone without proof. Never ! Xaar Ex director of EV PS: I would like to thank N'Fran D'Larn and Seren D'Koch for their professionalism in this matter. It has been said numerous times in the past and I'm glad that I can repeat it. EV truly is the best corp in the game and this is because it has the best people. I want to apologize to Talitha and Edward Vendetta because I created a lot of controversy that has hurt them. I'm sorry about that. Please consider this. I do not have to say this, nor do I have to return the bpo's. I do this of my free will because I believe it is in the best interest of the largest possible group of people.
