We plan on deploying a new mirror on Singularity within a 1-2 weeks time frame.
We will run a query to detect supercapital build jobs that would not finish in time, so you don't need to post screenshots of that, but you should take some just in case.
If you have other tests in progress that would not finish by the end of next week, please let me know.

Sweet. Been waiting for a new mirror for sooo long.
Current thing I'm testing should actually be all over. It's very minor... even if the bug were used as an exploit... the person would be easily petitioned against. So tbh minor of minor bugs that doesnt even need to get attention.
Though could potentially be used to make isk :) which is unfair; and if you hide the deal... bad business.

CCP has stated many times that the only way to get Super Caps on Sisi is to build them, they will never be spawned.
Build jobs that span multiple mirrors will be reset to the orginal end date, after you start them again.
If you want to regularly test them, I would suggest starting a new build job for one every few weeks.
You never know when a new mirror wil happen.
I do kind of feel sorry for those who's build job ends just before a new mirror, but that's the risk you take, and should plan for.
My .02 isk anyways.

I don't brown nose. I state facts without expecting any reward for being honest.
The player base in eve, just as in any game, expects too much, doesn't have realistic expectations/ knowledge of how things work, and thinks their money is worth more then it is.
as far as the mirror goes, today was Sunday, CCP employees wont be in for a few more hours to put up the mirror. I'd check in 8-12 hours.

i did the same thing during tq dt last night because my sis client for some reason lieks to bug out and not auto patch. i was expecting to have to sit through 30 minutes of patch download and was plesently surprised to be able to log in to sisi without any problems. then i clone jumped to 0.0 and found a faction spawn in the first belt i went to

Sorry, guys and girls, Deployment had to postpone the new mirror on Sisi until after the holidays, due to workload on other projects. There is a possibility that the mirror will be put up next Monday on the 30th, but the brave people in Deployment are really busy nowadays, so we might have to wait for the new year.

I have had the parts to my wyvern in a pos ready to start building for 2 weeks or so, I was told before i made the 18 freighter runs to set that up that if I don't have the skills ccp would bump it into production for me, yet I haven't seen one online and nobody reads dd testing alliance mail apparently..
is there any way i can get this into production for the mirror with or without the 2 weeks lost?

ive been doing some outpost construction and upgrade testing. i just recently got sov 2 in the system i am working in, to understand game mechanics on outposts and their construction. is there any way post server mirror you can leave one friendly tower in system or reset sov back to pre-mirror level so i can continue this testing? the system i have been working in is MD-0aw.

Because you whined.. CCP will instantly bend to your whim and put the entire deployment team on updating the test server that maybe 200 out of 450,000 eve users sign on to each day. They will foresake all else to make this happen just for you
get real and get over yourself. its not brutal honesty its CCP choosing between what is more important at any given instant to make sure everyone in eve is taken care of so we can all enjoy the game. got a problem with that? do it yourself, and youll see how hard it is. then emo rage quit from life please

Making a new mirror for SiSi takes slightly longer than that (more in the multi-day range).

still you pay for tq and sisi is a free service from ccp, which one you use how often is up to you. what i dont get is why they keep promising the new mirror and meanwhile keep failing at deploying it finally. if you can't do it within the time you promised, stop promising further and announce the new mirror right before the actual deployment tbh.

Try workin' in a game company like CCP and try to respect delays when you get unexpected issues. They are not robots, they are humans, thus winter vacations didn't help, obviously. And seriously, having a mirror delayed isn't such an issue ( @ "omfg i can't wtfpwn everything without carrying about being blown up !" ). |

Try workin' in a game company like CCP and try to respect delays when you get unexpected issues. They are not robots, they are humans, thus winter vacations didn't help, obviously. and the new mirror isn't about "omfg i can't wtfpwn everything without carrying about being blown up !", you can do that now just as well as after the mirror, it's about sisi being a test server and those tests aren't very valuable when your chars on sisi and tq are completely different skillwise.

Why would a company respond to its customer's requests? Gee, I have no idea why they might do that.
It is entirely legitamate for a constumer to complain about something they have an issure about. And clearly, It is not just me that has been complaining about the lateness of the mirror. This forum is covered in people talking about this issue.
I understand you are a CCP sheep that believes CCP can do nothing wrong, but please go emo rage somewhere else. No, I work for a software company, it is not hard to mirror a server. rofl.

I know you may find this hard to comprehend, Gabriel, but disagreeing with your flawed argument does not make someone a "CCP sheep."
You can rant and rave and throw sarcasm around and cry "poor customer service!" all you want, but the fact remains that the test server is a tool operated by CCP, at CCP's whim, to serve CCP's needs. As the Devs have stated already, mirrors happen when the testing division needs them, to better facilitate the testing process. Not to make sure players always have a risk free environment in which to test a new fit or their latest shiny faction ship acquisition, or that new skill they've been waiting to finish training.
My main account is listed as unsubscribed under the current mirror, so believe me when I say I want one every bit as much as you do. I can't even function on SiSi until we get a new mirror. But you don't hear me throwing a tantrum about it. |

as for the haters and the sheep haters: Guys be patient. The server IS up. They did not take it down or forbid you to play the game, it's only missing the mirroring. if you REALLY can't wait to have the updated skills... after the next mirror just train your skills on both servers at the same time.

It is part of the service that you pay for you when pay for your account on the tranquility server. Many people rely heavily on the test server and made the decision to play given that CCP offers this service. When you look into the game and the player guide, the test servers are a bullet point as an good part about this game.
I bet you also agreed with the elimination of training on innactive accounts as well. You are just a sheep emoraging on behalf of CCP. If you dont like this, simply do not read the post. "Now STFU because Im sick of all you arrogant ****s blabbering how customer complaints are somehow wrong or whining.

You're wrong.
Sisi is a way for the devs to test out new live builds for TQ and was probably only opened to the general player base for the additional help with bug hunting. More testers = better, and the players can enjoy the benefits of a no-consequences server.
Stop asking for devs to wait on you hand and foot. They're just trying to do their jobs. |

The mirror is being applied, so all the whines and whining about whines and whining about ppl whining about whines (ie me) can stop.
I'd like to say a small thankyou to CCP for delaying the mirror, as I'd just realised that I completed CS V (started as a joke to see if it wld make it). I had quite some fun lighting ppl up in ffa3 as a result.
