Thought it Might be an idea to make a big thread for them all.
This thread Should be for posting the idea only. If you want to comment take the discussions out and into a thread made for that.

Pop-up does not lock game up on anything When popups pull up, people are complaining it has been used as an exploit to lock their system controlls and they have lost their ships in battles or against player killers by inviting, quitting, inviting, quitting over and over again to lock their controls and destroy their ships in the process.
The controlls should never be locked up at all during game play.
Emergency Warpout Button Instead of right clicking this and that and warp when it comes to push and shove against pirates about to kick your behind, we should create an emergency warpout button feature where it gets you away from the enemy right away when your about to die and lose your ship.
Maybe even make a new skill or device too to make warping faster go out of dying areas.
Game Credit - Trade EVE Credits I know it's a policy against E-Bay, but how about a compromise? I propose a Game Credit - Trade EVE Credits in the game where if you trade off like say $5 Million Dollars, the player gets 5 dollars credited to their EVE account. If their balance is over the limit for say they paid for a 15 dollar EVE a month thing, then they have the option of receiving it towards their credit card.
But the comproise way is the victim doesn't have to pay for the $5 million dollars, the owner gets the money earned from a tradeoff.

Also change the timer on the destruction of cans to 3 days and add the timer to anchor containers. Some containers have been left to rot for over a year with no purpose such as one container said they annexed an entire asteroid belt that is still there and it was dated back in 2003. 
This would also clean the system of advertisement containers laid out too if they have no purpose even after the corporation has been laid to waste.

1) Reload All. either reloads all weapons of the same type with the same type of ammo, or allows us to assign weapon groups where i select which guns are to be affected. weapons groups would also allow us to fire all weapons of a certain group at one time with a single keystroke or mouse click. (have you f1-f8ed anyone today? )
2) show all modules on the UI at once. pretty self explanatory. also allow us to reposition the main ui. iirc dual screen ops split it in half.
3) reduce the size/complicated design of targetting brackets. they clutter up this great game. those vertical and horizontal bars across the entire screen have to go.
4) would a /tell option in the chat be out of the question? all those chat windows are silly. if bob is mining next to me, just let me type /tell bob in any chat window to talk to him privately.. with the message coming up in his current chat window. ability to select multiple channels to go into a single window would be nice as well. with different keystrokes to send written text to different channels while in the same window. say i combine corp and local windows.. i can type /c <message> to talk to corp, /L <message> to talk in local. go pick up a copy of swg and play it for a day... their chat system is fabulous. then destroy it as thats the only fabulous thing. 
5) add a count of drones active in the drone control window.
6) reduce the size of the gang members in space near you.. a name and the 3 bars will suffice. no need to see the huge picture.
7) add a structure bar to the target locks.. unless you mean for us to be blind to that. a general reduction in size, and an option to have those show up in a window would be nice as well.
8) allow an option for small icons for cargo holds, drone bays, and hangars everywhere, as well as a list.
9) can i get an ability to "ping" people in corp or on my buddy list(who also have me as a buddy) to get there attention? a small light and an audible tone.

You have to to be overly percise in your mouse movments or the sub menu closes, The sub menus need to have a delay before they go away or change to a different sub menu.
if you are in a panic, need to warp out or something, you have to be calm in a non calm moment to be able to use the sub menus.

EVE already has zero client-side authority, so it is essentially bomb-proof in this respect.

On a less severe note: make the default typing mode a hotkey mode, and make it so you have to click on a chat window or press enter to type to chat. This way we can assign lots and lots of hot-keys.
Hotkeys are really really necessary, I would like it if I only *needed* the mouse to operate the camera and select objects in space, so if I wanted to I could handle everything else using the keyboard.

I suggest making standard hangars work more like f.ex. Corp Hangars, with the option of organizing items in folders. For instance one for blueprints, one for weapons, ammo, etc.

Right clicking on a mission journal should bring up the 'set destination' option for the (next) system waypoint. Reading through the mission text, typing the name in, checking to see if you got it right, search, set destination is needlessly cumbersome.
Mission waypoints should have the numerator in front of the name, instead of behind - it doesn't show up, thus isn't alphabetized, and the order is messed up, so currently they must be renamed to work properly. (If this is fixed the next item probably isn't as important.)
Talking to agents should have an option to reset the waypoints of a mission, in case one get accidentlaly deleted or otherwise screwed up.
Some sort of color range informations should be added to the gun icons next to locked and firing targets - optimal (green) falloff (yellow) out of range (red).
One possible shortcut option should be 'activate all hipower slots'.

Regarding Secure Cans, I'd like to see a popup confirmation added when selecting "Unanchor". With the close proximity of "Open Cargo" and "Unanchor", I know I'm not the only one who sometimes experiences, either thru misclicking or lag, the accidental unanchoring. The confirmation box would alleviate this.

I am still learning at the University but I have been unable to find a way to view one of the larger portraits in game. If possible let us click on button near the information section of a characters portrait that will pull up a fairly large one. Just for fun. |

You can generate a 1024x1024 sized portrait by right clicking on a character (from Chat or People & Places) and selecting "generate portrait".
The image doesn't come up in game but if you look in the folder where eve was installed to under \EVE\capture\Portraits you will find the bmp files there.
Would you like this sized image to display in the game? Perhaps a bit smaller as the game can be run in resolutions as low as 1024x768. -- Top 5 corporation improvements as requested by CEOÆs |
