erm.. what exactly is your problem with this? Why would anyone but a player that has spent time making his in-game political stance obvious want to take part in this race as a contestant? And it will likely go through 0.0 so it will be the biggest gankfest ever for you piraty types. What exactly is the problem with that?

geez, why do people try to intrude on matters that don't concern them...?
Oh, and one more thing, look at the date of the post next time, I found out this info well before you started splurting rubbish from someone else who was actually more helpful than you...you simply ask and you get help. I dunno if that applies to you or anything, but...

Look Ivresse, I didn't but in, I simply stated my oppinion. You had been looking for info in this thread, info that should be easy enough to get through more direct channels than this particular thread.
I had read through the whole topic and found myself irritated at your apparent helplessness to find out this stuff by yourself. I actually like your idea, I liked your initiative. I didn't mean to get you mad at me, telling people to go get a clue isn't exactly at the top of my "bad things to say" list you know.

Well. I am for events. They are great.
But I am against all kinds of events where some specific players are not welcome because of the way they play.
If you have a hard time understanding a basic concept like equality there is no need to find some excuses and yell at my "in-game political stance".
And I don't owe you a definition why I want to take part in this, why should I? What authority are you to ask me that? I am paying for the game the same way as the mission runners are doing it and the same way as the non pirates are doing it. This alone and only this should give me equal rights to participate in the game.
I have yet to see CCP organising a global event for pirates only.
