As a man, I'd love to have chicks all over me all the time, but even so it wouldn't be the same as how men behave. There's a reason my colleague of ten years has always valued my company at clubs and concerts -- she's extremely cute and therefore has to put up with guys not only eyeballing her, but making comments and getting up in her business. Constantly. CONSTANTLY. For all the benefits being a cute chick comes with, I think the incessant enduring of the brain-dead male on a daily and hourly basis is more than I'd want to handle. And online? What's the point, even. Nothing destroys a good online session of Counter Strike (or any other number of things) like a girl -- not even a cute girl, just a female at all -- getting on. Every dumbass male from 8 to 80 on the server either has to be a pig or a pathetic, driveling fool instead of just playing the god damned game. And I mean it -- 8 to 80. I don't care if they're 30 years old. They still behave the same way. Of course, then there are girls who encourage it. And there are girls who get some weird perverse attention from playing games like WOW and go out of their way to point out "hey I'm a hot girl playing a videogame!" (but it's only EVER wow so it doesn't really even count). Oh... a smoking hot stripper friend of mine did actually hook up with and marry a guy she met on Ultima Online, though. That was a huge "WTF?". But hey... whatever. -- What's your EVE New Year's Resolution for 2009?

As much as I regret that some people can't enjoy the full experience of a game without being hassled, it is definitely not an enjoyable experience to have your entire online experience turned into an idiot frat-boy show-off session by a bunch of pre-pubescent minded jackasses, just because a female is online. Everything is either stopped or severely impacted to the point that the gameplay is flat out useless until the female is gone. It would be fantastic to play with groups of people that don't get stiff over over everything and could just ****ing play, women involved or not. With any luck, this will improve with the aging of the gaming population, but since the average gamer is already 29 years old, I don't hold a lot of hope.
