Let's hear your opinions. There are plenty of ships in the game that look really (really) bad, but only a few that look sexy as hell. Post what ship, and why.
My vote: the Navy Mega. It's sleek, it's all black, and it looks like it can kill you dead. No other faction ship is all black, no other ship has the looks and the performance to back it up.
The Kronos has a certain majesty to it with it's gold coloring and whatnot, but it just doesn't match the killer look of the Navy Mega.
Other ships in the game? HACs, Recons, other faction BS are all kind of muddy, even the Vindicator isn't as nicely dressed as the Navy Mega.

The ships based on the Executioner hull always make me go "ooh". I really liked the Vengeance and Damnation too when they were first released (probably for similar reasons the OP suggested the Navy Mega - dark and sleek), but the novelty has long since worn off.
My favourite hull though is probably the Ferox. It'd look great as a "covops" ship in that wonderful camo effect that the Buzzard/Falcon have.

hmm, the Sac looks very sweet actually (not the T1 version, only th Sac). Harpy looks ok.
Nyx is high up there, it got that Independance Day feel to it.
Nighthawk is nice.
Moa/Onyx is pretty sweet.
Chimera is also nice.
I dunno, I donµt think any one is more sexy then the other :P

Ships that look good: Ships that are symetrical. It's how the human brain works (unless it's damaged or deficient).
I've always liked the Armageddon and Punisher models. The Augoror also looks cool to me with it's raised armor plates.
Ships that look stupid: Anything that isn't symetrical. Unfortunately this is about 75% of the ships in the game... The Moa is so ugly it actually makes me angry to look at it. When I catch a glimpse of one I usually log off for the rest of the day and go throw up. |

Mach looks good as does the nightmare in new graphics. The one that sticks out for me is the thorax just because when i was a few month old noob who still was trying to refuse to cross train i saw the thorax and thought it looked great and actually wanted to gallente to get it while i might like other ships looks better that effect will allways stay with me (i now can fly all 4 races because of it).

Well, my vote is the Cynabal. Last time I checked the ones in my hangar, they were all black. Granted...a sort of a dull black, but still black.
The Cynabal might not offer anything particularly special compared to less expensive T1 cruisers or similarly-priced T2 cruisers, but hot damn, it looks awesomely menacing and truly ... alien, somehow. Hands-down my favorite ship simply for the aesthetics.

Rokh, I love it. I would kill for a Navy Rokh. I honestly think someone else designed it that didn't do the other Caldari ships. It's pretty damned symmetrical and it's sexy as hell. I love how it goes from vertical in the front like a damn futuristic train from hell then horizontal in the back with rounded slopes on it. |

I am really surprised at you people. I thought the forum alts were people of discerning and acute taste. Here we are on page three, and none of you have said it - except in an oblique reference to "magnate variants".
Of course, everyone agrees that the Anathema is the sexiest ship in the game: black, sleek, nimble. And since my industrial/recon alt flies a Helios I know what I'm talking about. I keep weeping when I see the... er... mutated oyster with the strange growths.

Myrmidon - ITS FREAKIN' VERTICAL! But it does look good anyway
Hyperion - Big-ass with mucho pewpew = ♥
Rokh - The boomstick if there ever was one
Geddon - Majestic but similarly powerful at the same time

There are plenty of ships in the game that look really (really) bad, but only a few that look sexy as hell
I think the wide variety of vessels getting the thumbs up kind of overturns your first point. The Rookie ships damage EVE's subscription rate...They have to be some of the coolest looking and manage to be the worst... I thought nothing could look worse than the Ibis but the Gallente one whatever it is called... is just..well it defies description.
My vote goes to (from ships I have seen which aren't many)
For Sexiness: Hard to top the Navy Mega but it is a little unbalanced looking.
For Threatening: Nightmare. Looks like a deep sea fish about to snap up a smaller vessel in one bite.
For Well Designed: Hurricane. It is very proportionate and Functional looking.
For Pure Menace: Dominix Vexor and Brutix with Drones out.
For Potential: The Caracal's icon makes it look like its going to be sweet but because of the UP and DOWN graphics and the bent main section it looks like it will spin out of control when the propulsion fires up. If the fueslage was straightened and the "wings" bent up to be flatter I think it would look damn cool.
Personal Favorite: The Mastadon. Reminds me of the USS CYGNUS from an old movie called "The Black Hole" I think there is room for new class of ship. The "PIRATE INDUSTRIAL" Imagine it pulling up beside your industrial transferring your precious goods ... then blowing you to shreds. I'd love it and want one as would many others I think |

The arbitrator hull has been best for ever now there is no point in arguing about it. (curse is probably best looking, but i think the classic golden color of the arbi goes really nice with the blue engines)
Second place prize goes to: every tier 2 BC
Minmatar space trains receive an honorable mention, they dont really look good, they just look awesome, like they would pwnzor you and not even stop to loot cause there's a schedule to keep.
Thats it, every other ship is ugly and you must have a hideously ugly soul for liking them! |

Rokh has to be the best looking non-faction Battleship, and a close second the Abaddon (it's a Revelation that shrank in the wash).
