Official: 1 (Win/Mac - whichever I can get patched to Apoca :p )
Resubbed Eve due to the Linux support that was added at some point. Will try out with WINE when I get a new gaming box, and will stick with it if it works very well...

I use linux on my desktop because of the work I do. I liked the fact that linux was supported, but now it is not. Even though it is not officially supported anymore, I hope CCP does not fall into the normal windoze way of doing things, bloated and ineffecient.
Models did not show up for me when I tested Apocrypha on SiSi, but hope that it works now.

Wine: 2
Too bad Linux is not officially supported anymore, but I never got EVE to work through Cedega and as I suspect there's a lot of that around there's no wonder the CCP guys thought Linux was not the way to go..
Wine works more or less perfectly, however. I just prey that it stays that way so I don't have to pay for an OS which I consider inferior in order to play my favorite (or, in fact, only) game. ;)

Crossover: 1
n.b. Apocrypha seems to have greatly increased performance, and high shader + 8xAA is slightly slower than high + HDR + bloom + AA on vista (9600gt, ubuntu 8.10). Not actually tried shooting anything yet - but it might be good enough to actually use for more than skill changes, travel, and occasional mission ;)

Used to work in both classic and premium. Now I've got no models. I'm likely to retire the accounts. Change is all around us. |

I run 2 clients under linux with wine and i don't understand why transgaming isn't capable to get cedega work with premium. Wine knows how to talk with eve ;)

Works flawlessly. I'd say we don't need the "official" Cedega based client, CCP should invest that money into Wine development, or into creating a native client.

I must say it works quite well. Patches have to be installed manually, but my ubuntu + wine handles windows applications pretty well by now.
