edit. oh, well after rereading your post you are correct in that the goons did not in fact pull this off from an already planted spy. However its all irrelevant as bob is no moar and the winners always write the history books. |

There was alot of in fighting inside bob, things like evol refusing to set an rkk alt alliance to blue. It wouldnt surprise me that someone was sick of it and hit the disband, i just think its a bit far fetched to jump to the conclusion that goons were behind it. |

so far my least favorite posts are the ones sympathizing for BoB. Boohoo underhandedness, back-stabbing, and manipulation.
Pretty sure those are all values EvE is based on. This is probably the only way something like BoB or goons or (insert EvE power bloc) will get dismantled. To say EVE strategic and goal oriented in the hostile environment that eve is, part of the strategy SHOULD be crippling your enemy from the inside. If they are dumb enough to open themselves up to such a security risk its their own fault.
Eve isn't just Pew pew, there's this thing called market pvp, most industrialists play that niche. Now we've all just had a prime example of another eve pvp shown to us. Its all part of eve, and there for a reason. |

Yea I will be wearing a Kevlar poncho to the next fan fair, if I was ccp I would invest in some airport grade metal detectors and some basic riot gear ya know tear gas and a few stun guns...LOL
You know after 2 years I see **** like this and it turns me further away from taking this game seriously I say wow that would sux, I can just avoid all that now and cancel sounds like deal to me, Conan or war hammer online ftw.
I can look at this and say wow why would I bother with ccp idea of a game. So i can be the next totally cheated too fuk and rolled out of the game like that ? naw thats ok ccp bugger off chumps

Isn't it a bit silly that for something as mundane as a war dec you need to hold a corporate vote with the shareholders but you can close an entire alliance with the press of a button? |

If they do that heads will roll. It looks like this really was completely legitimate - no EULA-breaking maneuvers involved.
Not that there's been much fight in BoB lately. Those fleet battles with them have been lackluster of late.

well here goes my 2 cents,
anyone around BoB sov territory should be online right now taking it over, beware of goons.
any goons that read this, if this was you guys or not way to go, lets see what happens now, do you take over, or do you get kicked out by the 50 thousand other alliances gunning for sov.
i want to see what eve is like in about a month, i want to see if all of BoB sov space is taken over or is being fought for.
also goons, when the other alliances fight, all of you launch domsday devices and crash the server, i want to see it happen again
