Just a small video about a pirate encounter we had in empire last night. So close yet, so far (story of my EVE-life) 
Keep an eye on the scorp's damage...

You do know that if you hadn't taken the time to switch missiles you probably would have taken him down... 
As for the logging, does this mean that he logged off several minutes ago and vanished now after 5 minutes? I thought this had been fixed.

Hmm thats true, arent you suposed to warp to a random spot nowadays?
I asume this vid is since after that change wich meens there must be some form of "feature" used for the ship to vanish like that...

Fester, you warp to a spot 1000km from yor location but only if you are not warp scrambled. If you are scrambled then you will stay where you are. The countdown timer is still running and will make your ship dissapear when it reaches 0.
Personally I think the timer shold be abolished and when you log you warp away. The ship does NOT dissapear, ever. It would mean you can find ships that have been logged off in a safe spot.

I agree, you should only be truely safe when you dock at an NPC station b4 logging...
