Thanks for the info...You weren't kidding when you said the Atron/Gallente frigate was cheap. Got one on my first day for 27,500 isk!

just a question but is all navigation done via clicking? im coming from SWG so just wondering if its possible to bring up a crosshair and put the ship on manual?

As a newbie to EVE,
This is excellent info, very well done & clearly explained! :-) imo add this url to the MOTD when entering EVE! (Rookie help channel would be a good place!)

I am on my 5th day of playing, first time posting on these forums. And in my first post, i'd like to give you, Restrius, a huge thanks! 
I wish i'd seen it a bit earlier, but i am flying a Tristan now, so i am happy. Nonetheless, your guide provides invaluable information into the other race's ships strengths and weaknesses, and a great deal of information about the weapons types (which i was still having trouble with before i read this). Great job man!

As everyone else here has stated, this is a fantastic guide and very helpfull. Ive only been playing just under a day and wish i saw this earlier as i was constantly in the ingame help chat harrasing ppl for answers lol all of which u explained in this thread.

infact it can mount 3 turrets and 2 launchers. I prefer 2 on 2 :P

Thanks so much for the guide; I was struggling to learn how missiles work, figure out what range I should be firing them at, and understand the differences between the types. You cleared it right up for me. And now, off I go to the market window, enlightened. :)
