Why make Eve more acessible for unintelligente peoples?

Loka xDD	Posted - 2009.02.14 13:20:00 - [1] This last patch is scaring me... Why every patch CCP is making Eve more dumbier? I mean, easier tutorials, align button, now way too easy scanning with probes system, nano nerf, and others stuffs... Whats next? Auto-fitting window? Guns with no tracking? "ShootDistance" in weapon showinfo because peoples cant do math(Optimal+Falloff)? Is Eve trying to be like WoW? I like Eve because of its community, and it having a harder gameplay filter reta**** kids away, so they go play something else with elfs and gnomes... Also, I tried lots of MMORPGs out there, and only Eve was a challenge to learn how to play, and theres always stuffs to learn, thats why I still playing it now.. Eve needs more stuffs for advanced players, probing was, (I think), not everyone knew how to warp around creating SS right in the edge of the 4au of the others probes, or how to use the different(ALOT) kinda of probes... Now a 1day player can learn how to scan stuffs with this new probing system... whys that??? Soo, please CCP, dont make Eve a stupid game where even my cat can play it.... Just my opinion...

They dont care who plays the game, as long as as many people play it as possible. And I am sure with all the newbies, plex prices will fall, because they want money fast.

Do you still drive a car with Makeshift Transmission? You know, where you have two gearsticks. Do you also use a manual crank to start your car or get someone to manually start the propellers whenever you take a flight on a plane? Does your train jounrey involve you filling the engine with coal?

There is an auto fitting function to the fitting window now. Save your ships current setup and next time you have a fresh ship to fit just select the saved profile and it will take them mods and all charges and fit them in about 2 seconds! I look at it as streamlining. **** gets easier to traverse, I am willing to bet none of you that say EVE is getting easier to play though ever ran a corp or were a director in one. The corp interface has been FUBAR since day one and there is still not a fix on tranq that is worth a damn to fix that. Z Fix the damn CEO interface CCP. So because you had to bang your head against a wall, you want everyone else to? I never found the game that hard to learn, but then again I was a geek in high school and played games like Battletech and Car Wars just to name the easier ones. Personally, I like they're getting rid of archaic methodologies and makes the game easier to actually play and not worry about lame things such as dropping bookmarks with precision. (How lame is that?) If you are wanting more complex 'roller coasters' to ride, there are tons of games that cater to that attitude. I think WoW and Everquest are right around the corner. EVE is a sandbox. Build your own roller coasters. Pick a fight with the Goons. (I hear they like fighting.) Go solo in Rancer. (I hear that's a heck of a ride, but you usually crash at the end.) EVE is far from becoming a 'stupid' game. The sheer vast store of knowledge to you'll need to get by isn't changing, just the mechanics to put that knowledge to use. As others have said: "If you don't like it, the door's that way." tl;dr version: Quit whining, you're masochistic. You want bigger thrill rides, go play WoW. If you leave give me your stuff.

For example, by disabling the overview and the chat window you can make low security systems much more exciting and challenging. Consider a ship's fitting statistics to be the Easy Mode limit and stay as far away from the maximum CPU and Powergrid as you dare. Further conpensating for formdable brainpower can be achieved through weapon selection - limit yourself only to smartbombs and light drones. I believe you'll find the game much more rewarding through the use of self-imposed handicapping and be on a more even footing when facing the likes of the average player.
