If they're fitting NOS and neuts, make sure your setups use no cap at all. Typhoon with the ganksetup mentioned here earlier + a domi with plates/eanms in lows, standard mids and preferable either projectiles if you can fit those or otherwise NOS...

A gankmega with 7 neutron blaster cannons and plates is seriously awesome. You'd have to run the reps a looong time before they'd be better than the plates, also, this way you do way more damage.

100dps is a pretty huge boost for a cruiser, remember, it might be tech II, but it's still a cruiser. Some HACs could use it, but not all of them.

Rabble rabble extra lowslot for Kronos rabble rabble make it so! Right, on topic; Haven't tested the vargur myself, but I know that it does need some extra pg, but hell no it doesn't need another med slot, it's got a good enough tank as is.
